Ruckomechi Camp: picture gallery

Ruckomechi Camp is situated along a long stretch of pristine Zambezi riverfront.
The main area is elevated on wooden walkways and decks...
...providing great views across the meandering river towards the Zambian shoreline.
The main area contains an outdoor dining area...
...a pier-like wooden star-deck which juts out into the river...
...and an open plan seating area.
There are plenty of comfortable couches and armchairs providing great places to relax.
The dining area is open on one side and dominated by a long dining table.
The tented chalets lie on the banks of the river...
...and are canvas walled with high ceilings and mesh windows.
On entry to the chalets you immediately walk into a large bedroom...
The en-suite bathroom contains a large shower and a flushing toilet.
A mokoro shaped brass basin with a small vanity mirror looks out towards the river...
...and you might be surprised at what you see.
Wildlife often comes through camp on it's way to drink at the river.
