"A good first night stop for our trip.
It worked well as a first night as we were getting into the whole experience. The evening game drive and sun downer worked well.
Staff helpful, but less personal service than at the smaller lodges we stayed at later in the trip.
Saw many other animals than in the list below - ostrich, springbok, owl, stork etc."

"Really enjoyed Hoodia - great location, facilities, accommodation and staff. We were made to feel very welcome with a personal greeting, refreshments and talk-through the plans for our stay at the lodge.
The Lodge had real character and we were really impressed and enjoyed all aspects.
Catering (gluten free options) were very nicely done and personalised, with menus adapted carefully.
All the staff were positive and engaging and our experiences with our guide (Enos) on the Sossusvlei day exceeded expectations.
A huge number of animal and bird sightings not listed below..."

"amazing location in the boulders with a neat sundowner bar at the top of the hill .
A shady rockpool for swimming and a great bar/restaurant terrace and view. Staff very attentive.
The drive to see desert adapted elephants was very successful and we had a great outlook for the coffee break."

"Fabulous! The outlook from the venue over the waterhole was great from the bar area and our room.
Staff were great, friendly , helpful and relaxed. We had a personal guide for 3 drives which meant that each time we had a focus on something new.
His knowledge was excellent and he ensured we had a memorable time. Gluten free options were very good"

"pretty much as described, clean, comfortable, adequate although a little tired accomodation.
Restaurant was adequate and village store with basic supplies.
