Lewa Safari Camp: video gallery

Lewa Safari Camp: picture gallery

Lewa Safari Camp is one of only two tented camps in the whole of the Lewa Conservancy.
From the outside, it has the look of a characterful and rustic farmhouse.
This theme continues inside, with a good degree of comfort and rustic style.
In the evenings, meals are usually served inside by the fire.
But breakfast and lunch is often served on the veranda, looking out across...
...the lush green lawns.
Next to the main house is the outdoor pool, behind which is another lounge.
On warm evenings meals are often served here too.
The tents are spaced through the bush with good privacy...
...and are canvas tents suspended under thatched roofs.
They are light and airy spaces...
...with lovely open sides...
...and stone ensuite bathrooms...
...complete with plumbed in shower.
The private verandas are a great spot to while away the siesta time.
Activities here focus on game drives, which get you close to Lewa's larger residents.
Though approaching less dangerous game on foot is also exhilarating.
For the experienced or even the novice, horse-riding....
... and camel-riding can be arranged at an additional cost with a nearby lodge.
