"Adequate for one night stopover. However no proper restaurant for evening meal of reasonable standard. Dined at Intercontinental.

"Convenient night at City Lodge OR Tambo"

"Located in the airport buildings it saved a lot of hassle not having to leave the airport. But signage to the lift for the hotel was not good from either Terminal, and it was a much longer walk than we had anticipated. The room had all mod cons. good bathroom, no aircraft noise, and was excellent for a brief overnight stay.
A good English breakfast in the morning!
We left some baggage in the basement Left Luggage area of the Airport, but were horrified to find that they ONLY accept cash, not credit or debit cards. We have apologised to these travellers for the misinformation about the payment terms and procedures for luggage storage at Johannesburg airport. None of us at Expert Africa have made use of this facility so we were relying on the information we received to be correct. "Great hotel within easy access from the international arrivals. A short and safe 5 min inside only walk from the terminal. Hotel staff is very friendly and the breakfast buffet was outstanding."

"It was convenient for us to stay right at the airport as we were in transit from Namibia to Botswana. The hotel is large and very busy, a bit of a shock after 2 weeks in remote lodges."
