"Vicki & Rocky Dream Come True - Sept, 2014"
When we were leaving Sandibe Camp one of the women who worked there said their is an expression in Africa; "Once the dust of Africa settles in your soul, you can never get it out."
Well it is in my soul, and we will return!
Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:
Definitely update the website on Sandibe with new photos, etc. Otherwise continue the excellent work and service. We hope to again go back to Botswana in the future....the high cost, but low impact of people is the best way to be on safari. We never saw more than two other vehicles in the bush and they are only allowed to have three at a sighting.
We also embrace and respect so much that Botswana is now a 100% "no kill" country that is working hard to protect the animals. I will always encourage others to spend their safari dollars in this country where the government understands the value of their animals and eco-system." "Zambia Sept 2014"
The park has 6 Lodges but further down the river there are over 20 lodges all using the same park some travelling 90+ Kms to get through the gate as a result when on game drives you see lots of vehicles and 10 vehicles round a leopard at the price you are paying is not on! Gladly our guides agreed and as I have been lucky enough to have seen it all before we moved off and left the crowds to it.
So I would not return to Chongwe or Chiawa for that single reason although the Camps are superb.
So that leaves Old Mondoro further up the river the crowds do not get there, it is not as luxurious as the other two camps but you never see another vehicle apart from the other that belongs to the camp and that only happens when you have a good sighting and they radio each other so fine and great talking point over diner that night. Ryan and Pam who run the camp are a delight.
Its beauty is also in its intimacy only 4 tents and for me the best wildlife of all the 3 camps. Would I go back YES just have to save up! For anybody reading this and fancy it go for a week and book up soon they already have reservations for 2017! Loved it" Read full review: 13 nights in Africa; 12 on a Zambia safari

"Our 2014 Zambia trip"
For us it was great to be back in Zambia and for our guests from Brazil it was a wonderful experience for them as a first time trip to Africa.
Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:
We had to make a change to our flight from Lusaka to Johannesburg because our onward flight from Johannesburg was changed. The change was made but seating was not selected. I, at the suggestion of the Middlesex office, called SAA directly, but that could have been done by the Expert Africa staff just as easily.
There was some confusion with the Mukambi Bush Camp and the Busanga Plains Camp, but only I think because the Mukambi Lodge had not updated their web site to reflect the changes, so when we looked at their site it was not obvious what the Mukambi Bush Camp was, or if it even existed. Not a problem with Expert Africa, but something Mukambi should probably fix." Read full review: 11 nights in Africa; 3 on a Zambia safari
"Rwanda and Zambia - September 2014"
Maruska is excellent. She has great listening skills and an ability to match our desired trip with the Expert Africa offering superbly. Her advice was essential in helping us plan our holiday and the selection she recommended worked well.
Thanks also to Ellie and Chris for their advice on photography and to Ellie for handling our final arrangements.
Primate Safaris - especially Simba - was great in Rwanda. The agent in Kenya was not good and left us waiting at Nairobi airport for a long time when he was due to meet us. Remote Africa run a fabulous, family operation. And Shiwa N'gandu is a quite extraordinary and memorable experience.
The wildlife and experience lived up to all our expectations. The guides and hosts we met as we went around made the holiday for us, providing us with real insights to life in Rwanda and Zambia." Read full review: 17 nights in Africa; 12 on a Zambia safari

We discovered that 1 of our guides desperately needed footballs for the local children's teams. It would have been useful to have been advised that these items would have been a useful thing to bring.
Please thank Ellie for listening carefully to our requirements and organising a trip that met our needs/wishes so successfully.
We had a wonderful time." Read full review: 10 nights in Africa; 9 on a Zambia safari
