"Ruaha has a lot to offer in June which is a transition month between the dry and green seasons and as such is chilly in the mornings and evenings but lovely and warm during the day.

While game is a bit more difficult to see at this time, nevertheless it is far more abundant in the Mwagusi area rather than in the Jongomero area.

Of the two camps Jongomero is more luxurious and while its isolated position means there are no vehicles from other camps, this isn't the most important criterion for a true wilderness experience. "When I arrived in Johannesburg from Heathrow, London I was given assistance and found myself in a smallish room with television and noise blaring out and about 8 assistants doing nothing. Eventually I asked to be taken to the Gate for Kasane.

When I arrived in Johannesburg Airport from Maun it took nearly 2 hours to get through passport control and I had to re-enter, departures because baggage cannot go direct from Maun to Heathrow. A man who had an identity pass insisted that he gave me guidance ( which I said I did not want) because he knew where I should go.

He wanted $10 for the privilege,, which he did not get, and showed me to the wrong place anyway. After several attempts to get help a lady official opened a barrier and took me through in front of the queue and made sure I had assistance. The 'assistance' said if I wanted to give him "something" I was not to give it to him in front of anyone.(he did not get anything either!). ..Is there no other route to Botswana?

I was very satisfied with Lucy's assistance in arranging my visit to Botswana and will definitely consider Expert Africa's assistance if I need any help in the future.

Lucy partly remembered arranging my trip to Botswana six years ago and from that trip we planned this one. Through our Emails I found Lucy friendly, lucid and easy to communicate with and within a few days at short notice My Botswana itinerary was in place. Each stage of the plan went smoothly and there were no hold-ups or my being left stranded. Even at Maun airport I received unexpected assistance to make sure I was where I was expected to be.

My experience of a very enjoyable and well-planned trip leaves me without any suggestions for improving Expert Africa's service - except for, perhaps, including within this form a feature that prevents automatic deletion when accidentally pressing a wrong key or Back to previous page..........

"Great trip. Great service during planning and through the actual trip. Excellent location and amazing safari rides. Got to really experience wild Africa very very close.

Very much appreciated that service was also excellent while getting to and getting out of the actual camp. Excellent planning, coordination, attention to detail, and execution.

Staying at Khwai was the very highlight of our trip to South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe.

One very heartfelt request: Please work as much as you can to keep Kwhai Tented Camp on the "more" affordable side of prices. Specially considering that they will go through a major camp remodelling. Hopefully their prices will not be in the future as high as other camps nearby.
They are a great experience at a considerably more affordable price. I will definitely consider going back at a simmilar price.

Finally: Lucy Copson was great !!!!! Our trip was possible thanks to all her great work, knowledge and patience with our planning and requests. Congrats and thank-you very much Lucy. "My holiday was a trip of a lifetime, although only there for eight day's, it seemed like week's as i absorbed every single minute of my time in Zambia, every sight, every sound, will never leave me, and i hope to return to see more!

"I had done extensive research on Namibia but needed some expert advice to bring it all together. Sabina did just that - perfectly!

Namibia has been on our "to do" list for a couple of years. We've travelled in Africa quite extensively - this trip to Namibia has DEFINITELY been the best! It is magical, majestic, dramatic and unspoilt - there aren't enough adjectives to describe it and photo's can't capture it - it is truly "Epic"..." "Our trip included stays at five different camps, each in slightly different areas. All of the camps were very good.

Almost every game drive resulted in at least one truly memorable event. Most guides were excellent - even remarkable.

We and the three couples that traveled with us loved the entire experience.

Maruska is very capable and pleasant to work with.
