"We had a thoroughly wonderful trip to Botswana as per our individual reviews on each camp.

We had hoped to see wild dogs on our trip but understand that that is not within anyone's control & all the guides worked hard to ensure as many sightings of animals & birds as possible.

"It was a successful and very enjoyable trip. Everything went according to plan, and the only tiny hitch was a delayed pick up at Eros airport on the last day. "Overall our trip was amazing, we found Namibia to have such a contrast in scenery. On the whole the accommodation was perfect.

We have 3 problems we would like to highlight.

1: Bullsport, we are not sure why we were booked into low cost accommodation for one night when we could have gone straight to Hoodia for 3 nights.

2: Mushara lodge was less that 15 minutes drive from Onguma, and this should have been pointed out to us by Sabina. It was a waste of time and money staying for one night.

3. The greeting at the airport by Mclinda, she had a nice smile but that was about it! We asked for directions to Galton House which she said she didn't know how to get there. "It was a dream trip, superbly organised and flawlessly executed.

We couldn't be more thankful with the way Jessica dealt with various changes in our schedules, through the pandemic, and afterwards.
She was patient, kind, and always at hand to reply to queries. This trip was what it was because of all her attention to detail.

We must also mention George of Southern Safaris, who was incredibly helpful on our last day in Nairobi, driving us around the city and waiting while we had a late dinner since our flight was at midnight, insisting all the while that we not hurry and instead enjoy his city." "This trip, like those of many others, was originally booked for 2020 and then postponed again in 2021. This time it was brought forward by a few days and a couple of nights added at the start to take advantage of Emirates pricing. All arrangements went smoothly.

As a first trip to Zambia we chose to visit three national parks (Kafue/ South Luangwa/Lower Zambezi) and were glad we did as they were very different, as were the camps selected. We were a little disappointed by the variety of birds seen and fewer than expected leopards in their supposed hot spot of South Luangwa.

There were film crews in South Luangwa and Kafue throughout our stays which, on occasions, inhibited our access and positioning at sightings. This was a VERY expensive trip and we did not expect our experience to be limited by them taking priority!

However, overall we had a terrific time with plentiful sightings and photos to prove it.
