Bush Breakfasts and Picnics
For those keen to get in some early game viewing or maximize their time watching game our camp chef can prepare a delicious packed breakfast or lunch.
You’ll find Little Olivers Camp in the remote south-eastern reaches of the Tarangire National Park. It’s pioneer country and perfect for families with a spirit for adventure. Little Oliver’s Camp welcomes a family of 4 with children 5 years and over. Your family will be accommodated in a comfortable tent with en-suite facilities and a ‘true-blue’ outside bucket shower. Guiding at Little Oliver’s is unsurpassed and includes game drives (night and day), walking safaris and ‘fly camping’ outside your comfort zone.
Fly & Bush Camping
The fly camp is typically booked as part of a walking safari or simply as an exclusive and private night away from the main camp. This small and intimate lightweight camp is a fantastic experience for those seeking something a little more adventurous.
Game drives within the Tarangire National Park are offered twice per day.
Night Game Drives
There’s also the opportunity to see some of Tanzania’s famous ‘nightlife’, with unforgettable night drives permitted within Tarangire.
Walking is the absolute specialty of Little Oliver's Camp. The privilege of walking in these natural areas gives you an exhilarating feeling of adventure. Although you'll usually get close to large mammals such as elephant, giraffe, buffalo or even lion, walking safaris are very safe. The experienced guides of Little Oliver's Camp and an armed national park ranger will accompany you on every walk. Walking safaris can take an hour or a whole morning or afternoon, but combined with fly camping, they can take several days, letting you discover the most remote parts of Tarangire.
