I visited Namibia between 9 Dec 2014 and 30 Dec 2014
"Having to arrange this trip to facilitate the places we wanted to stay did cause me think about the extra driving i was taking on but in the end everything worked out fine.

As usual many thanks to Tracy (Sabine for Etango) for all their help." Read full review: 21 nights in Africa; 10 on a Namibia trip

"Dec 14 Kenya"

I visited Kenya between 7 Dec 2014 and 12 Dec 2014
"Well planned to fit with the time that I had, and a bit of a treat to have the game drives all to myself given the lack of other guests.

Comfortable camps with good food and excellent wildlife viewing." Read full review: 5 nights in Africa; 5 on a Kenya safari

"Great time"

I visited Namibia and 1 other country between 6 Dec 2014 and 26 Dec 2014
"Trip was very good - near enough all went to plan. Roads(!) in Namibia often meant time taken to reach destinations was longer then expected. Apart from the issue with Budget car hire we also had an issue with the Wilderness transfer from Galton House to Windhoek airport. They were supposed to let us know (or if we had not arrived when they called then inform Galton House staff) the pick-up time for our Monday morning transfer. By early evening here had been no call I decide to call them - as it was Sunday there was only an answerphone message and out of hours number - which I rang and the chap apologised for not letting us know but confirmed pick-up time. Just a lapse but would have expected them to have called or how else would we have known?

Overall thought the choice and quality of food was disappointing - in some cases it may have been the lack of guests which prevented a buffet style choice but was often on offer was often restricted and poor quality - naturally game was included on most menus and the only alternative was 'vegetarian' which was mainly the same vegetables which were being used for the main course. Rice seemed to be the main starch available. There was also a lack of detailed information given on how the food was presented eg. broccoli was a main veg but it often came with a blue cheese on it and meat often had a sauce poured on it. Fortunately we made up for this with some excellent meals in Cape Town and the High Tea at the Cape Grace Hotel is highly recommended!

This was our first trip to Namibia which has some spectacular scenery and good game viewing but don't think we will be keen to return except perhaps to Etosha. We like to regard ourselves as fairly seasoned travellers but perhaps our expectations were too high - accommodation was generally good but food disappointing." "Dec. 2014 trip"

I visited Botswana between 2 Dec 2014 and 4 Dec 2014
"It all went off without a hitch. Loved every aspect of Botswana and my visit to the Okavango Delta.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

It might be helpful to let guests know that the flights will likely make a stop or two on the way to the camp airstrip.

Also, we totally could have brought a small backpack or duffel with wheels, which would have make travelling elsewhere easier. I'm not convinced you need to prohibit wheeled luggage, as long as it is carry on size or smaller." Read full review: 2 nights in Africa; 2 on a Botswana safari

"Our Honeymoon Experience - Dec 2014"

I visited Zanzibar and 1 other country between 1 Dec 2014 and 13 Dec 2014
"It was wonderful! Every bit as fabulous as we had hoped and exactly what you would want your honeymoon to be.

The whole trip, considering we stayed in three different locations, across two different countries was brilliant. No delays or disruption to our travelling, lovely hotels and resorts and a lovely, warm welcome from Tanzania and Zanzibar.

Would definitely recommend to others!

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

Not really - may be a follow up call before receiving this form would have been nice but other than that, all good!" Read full review: 12 nights in Africa; 5 on a Zanzibar holiday

"Everything was perfect"

I visited Botswana between 24 Nov 2014 and 1 Dec 2014
"The entire trip was magical.

Many thanks to the Rangers and guides who shared their world with us. The Rangers will make or break the safari experience. Kwondo Rangers are all top notch! The camps and accommodations are all outstanding." Read full review: 7 nights in Africa; 5 on a Botswana safari

"My Nov 2014 trip"

I visited Kenya between 23 Nov 2014 and 6 Dec 2014
"Overall the trip was a joy from initial planning to our return home.

I was first attracted to the EA web site by the concrete, hands-on reviews. Richard patiently answered our questions and dealt with our changing plans as we coordinated with friends working in Kenya. Once in country all our reservations, transfers and stays went smoothly except for one minor payment problem. The camps we visited were accurately rated and described on the EA site.

Although we arranged the Zanzibar portion of our trip on our own, James D. gave us good advice on our options there." Read full review: 13 nights in Africa; 7 on a Kenya safari

I visited Namibia and 1 other country between 17 Nov 2014 and 28 Nov 2014
"Our trip with Expert Africa was fantastic, it was the trip of a lifetime and we had so many unforgettable experiences along the way.

The agents we dealt with have all been very friendly and helpful, we received all the information we needed before our trip and every transfer/flight/pick-up along the way went seamlessly.

We would definitely book with Expert Africa again." Read full review: 11 nights in Africa; 7 on a Namibia trip

"Our holiday of a lifetime"

I visited Zimbabwe between 17 Nov 2014 and 28 Nov 2014
"This truly was a holiday of a lifetime. We had an absolutely fantastic time.

We saw far more than we'd hoped in terms of the wildlife - they were more numerous, more varied and more close up than we'd hoped. We saw so many birds we almost lost count - 63 species in total that we remembered to write down. Everyone in Zimbabwe was so friendly and made us feel very welcome.

Everything went very smoothly and we felt in very good hands with Expert Africa." Read full review: 11 nights in Africa; 9 on a Zimbabwe safari

"My Nov 2014 trip"

I visited Tanzania and 1 other country between 14 Nov 2014 and 25 Nov 2014
"Can't thanks Expert Africa enough for sorting out all our arrangements, especially at relatively short notice. James D. was tremendously helpful. All the transfers worked like clockwork and we were met without hitch by the local agents. Particularly impressed with the one at Dar (Kearsley Travel) who were very professional (and, on our final departure from Dar when we were transferred to the main terminal by Coastal, we bumped into the driver we had had before who greeted us like old friends!). Slightly less impressed by the agent at Stonetown (Eco-tours), who was rather too keen to sell us the 'Stonetown tour'.. but otherwise transfers there were fine. All in all it was tremendous service from Expert Africa, which I highly recommend and would use again. Thank you!" Read full review: 11 nights in Africa; 9 on a Tanzania safari
