"Thoroughly enjoyed my holiday, and the game viewing in South Luangwa in late August/early September was truly unforgettable.

"A huge thank you to Liz and Angela for organising our trip. It was very reassuring that when asked by staff at both camps who we had booked our trip with and we mentioned Expert Africa, they would nod and say that you are one of the best!!

This holiday really exceeded all our expectations and I for one would love to repeat it sometime in the future!

I think the thing I really liked about dealing with Liz in particular was because she has first hand knowledge of the areas we were visiting and I understand that is the case with all the staff at Expert Africa who have their own areas of expertise. I also really liked the gift of the Bradt guide that was sent to us on confirmation of our booking - a nice touch.

"Excellent trip with some staggering game, especially in the Mara (albeit shared with plenty of other people).

We tend to stay in southern Africa so this was a little off our normal beat but we had a good time. Only downsides were tsetse flies in the Serengeti and an annoying lack of open vehicles. "We had a wonderful trip and the transfers were, as ever, well organised, even through Nairobi airport. The places we stayed more than lived up to our expectations. The lodges were very quiet compared to last year and we did enjoy feeling exclusive. We enjoyed mostly having the game drive vehicles to ourselves. It is a shame that the lack of direct flights from the UK may be deterring people from visiting Tanzania, but we loved the quietness. We certainly had no problems although the return flight was more tiring and not so pleasant because of not being a through flight.

We were impressed with all our accommodation and are amazed with how such luxury is provided in the wilds of Africa. We did find that Mosiguard improved our tsetse fly experience. All the vehicles we used were comfortable. We can recommend a southern Tanzanian safari for the game we saw (everything bar rhino and wild dog), and the beautiful scenery and lovely people. "Fantastic. Level of driving was just right. The places we stayed were all quite different to one another which added to the overall experience. They were also quite small which was really good too. All the arrangements worked perfectly.

Tracy Lederer was the person who I dealt with. She was fantastic. Really pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable and quick to respond. Was really impressed.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

I was really surprised it was originally suggested that a 'normal car' would suffice. We upgraded to a 2 wheel drive SUV and were glad that we did. While you could have probably done the trip in a 'car' but the chances of damaging it would be quite high due to its low ground clearance. Also, driving along the tracks would have been far from comfortable. I recommend that a 2 wheel drive SUV should be the standard car you suggest." "It was a trip of a lifetime! The planning was superb, everything just flowed from one place to another. The experience was better than anything we could have imagined.

I am ready to go again.
