"Overall...perfect trip.

For the most part, everything ran smoothly. Transfers were on time, reservations were all correct. Only hiccup was at Kati Kati, where we were directed to three different camps before finding the correct one. Other than that the trip was truly amazing. Each place knew we were on our honeymoon and did special little things for us.

Nomad Tanzania, and especially our guide, Cornelius, were amazing. Made our trip so much better than we could have expected. Will be recommending an African trip, Maruska, Nomad, and Expert Africa to all our our friends and families.

"The trip was fantastic. My only recommendation might be to have stayed at one less camp and that way we weren't moving after 2 nights each time. We loved all the camps but felt in transit a lot. I think for our first safari we were so blessed to have seen and experienced so much. Thank you for setting up a trip of a lifetime.

I wanted to let you know that we didn't have to pay the airport tax twice if our second flight was a domestic flight. We ended up having someone from Robin Pope let us know that and he went to customer service and got us a waiver from the fee. It was nice of them to let us know." "The trip was really well paced with enough time in each place to feel like you had enjoyed everything on offer. Also a great mix of relaxation focussed places and camps who excelled at giving a really excellent safarii experience, plus enough time at the end for some culture and history.

"We are fortunate to have travelled to a number of countries in Africa, including several safari destinations, and can honestly say that our recent trip to the Okavango Delta tops them all! Varied and scenic environments, fabulous wildlife sightings (often only possible because off-road driving is permitted), enthusiastic and knowledgable guiding, and the fact there are so few visitors that it sometimes feels like you have the place to yourself - all combine to make this a really wonderful destination.

We wouldn't have changed anything about our trip, so thank you Expert Africa - we're already planning when we might return!

The service and information provided was excellent throughout. Nick was not only really knowledgeable and personable, he made our trip possible by making lots of great recommendations based on our interests and preferences and, despite how late we were in organising our trip (c.3 months before we travelled), managed to find dates and secure bookings at two of the most popular camps in the Delta.

"Dear Sabina,

Thanks very much for organising such a great holiday again!! Totally different from the dry part of Namibia (Kalahari desert, Namib desert, Damara land, Etosha). This time river deltas, water, green, and also many many animals, and again very nice people. Anybody asking us about our two holidays, we suggest to contact Expert Africa and you. Again, unforgettable.

One topic for your consideration: leaving to our lodge near Rundu, we were stopped at a check point just south of Rundu close to an army base. I stopped the front of my car 1 meter past the stop sign. Anyway, the guy made a big point out of it, a second policeman joined him and I had to come with them to a tent next to the road. Supposedly I would get a fine of NAM $ 1500 for "ignoring the stop sign".

I stayed courteous, said that any fine I'd pay at the police station. Anyway, it was an attempt to get a bribe, but in the end I did not have to pay anything. At another lodge, I heard that a few other tourists had exactly the same experience, at exactly the same check point. Not a big deal, but just that you know this happened.

"We've now been on 10/12 safaris and this was one of the best yet. Very well organised by Expert Africa and their Senior Consultant Claire Scott who listened to what we required and crafted the itinerary over several iterations.

The S Luangwa National Park in combination with the Lower Zambezi is a good combination for all considering a trip to Zambia. If going to the S Luangwa area don't miss out on the Robin Pope Bush Camping experience with Deb for 3 days, it was the highlight of the trip with a very knowledgeable, and patient, guide." "We had the most wonderful holiday and we could not get over how helpful and charming everybody was, from when we first started to plan our holiday to our return home. The accommodation and food was excellent where ever we went, including the village lunch and we were made to feel that all the guides really cared about us having a good time and getting to see everything. All our transfers were well organised and well driven!

I would highly recommend going to see the Victoria Falls, taking the longer helicopter ride (30 minutes) over it as you then fly down the gorges which is very exciting and helps you understand the formation of the landscape. The buffet breakfast at the Royal Livingston Hotel is also an experience not to be missed.

"This was the first trip to Tanzania, or indeed Africa, for me and my husband. My daughters, who were with us, have been before though. We had the most brilliant time. My daughters and husband climbed Kilimanjaro then flew down to Ras Kutani to meet me and have a day or so to recover. It was a perfect place for that! Loved the monkeys there! Expert Africa did brilliantly in recommending Ruaha and Selous for our safari time. Neither had hordes of other vehicles rushing round and the former gave some wonderful close encounters with the wildlife whilst The Selous was such a beautiful landscape. Both Mdonya and Beho Beho were wonderful experiences and I would happily return there in a trice. Expert Africa also kindly arranged a road transfer for me to Ras Kutani so I was able to see some of 'normal' life on the way.
