Family Accommodation

Wilderness has been privileged to witness three generations of Wilderness Mombo, undoubtedly one of Africa’s foremost wildlife and ecotourism destinations. The tented suites have been built in such a way as to maintain the Wilderness Mombo traditions and history stretching back nearly 30 years, yet remodelled to the highest and most innovative standards.

1 of 1

Twin/Double Suite(s)

Rebuilt in 2018, repurposing much of the material, Wilderness Mombo maintains the traditions and history of the legendary original camp. Constructed of wood and canvas, Wilderness Mombo sits naturally in a thicket of giant mangosteen and fig trees.

Eight spacious suites afford sweeping views over a floodplain teeming with wildlife. Each suite offers a sitting room; separate bedroom and bathroom; indoor and outdoor showers; elegant copper bathtub; and outdoor private sala with a double day bed, sunken couch, plunge pool, and wrap-around veranda, all immersing you deeper into the bush and the wonders of Mombo’s Private Traversing Area.
