"We had a brilliant time. All the arrangements ran perfectly, the accommodation, food and service was superb. The guiding at all three camps was really excellent, the guides and trackers are all very knowledgable and informative about the wildlife in their areas.They really do make the experience special.

The team member who dealt with our trip was Richard Ball. He spent a lot of time finding camps and flights to suit us. Richard's name isn't in the selection list below, so I put Megan, who helped us when we went in 2017, as there is no option to put Richard's name." "Overall the trip exceeded my expectations. Victoria Falls was good but the helicopter noise ruined it for me.
The safari camps were brilliant and although one was much richer in terms of game viewings, overall the experience was superb.

We met some lovely people as well as part of the journey...

The only negatives were the crossing from Zimbabwe to Botswana was a mix up as there was not guide there to meet us. The itinerary was not in line with local travel staff. Fortunately a local person, who was not part f the company bailed us out and took us to meet the driver who was waiting somewhere else.

There was also a problem with the itinerary when we tried to get off at Omsdorf airstrip for Duba Explorers, as stated. The pilot was insistent that we needed to get off at Vumbara instead. The was ratified by two people getting onto the plane. So we stayed on the plane and in fact they, and not the itinerary from Expert Africa, were correct." "Spectacular! Feel hugely privileged to have seen and experienced all that we did during our time in these 2 countries.

Variety is the spice of life and every day on the trip brought some new highlight, be it a particular wildlife sighting or interaction, a scenic location or an activity. The trip has re-kindled our addiction for Africa and has only served to convince us to seek more! We would happily return to any of the locations we visited and on each occasion, when it was time to move on, we wished we could linger on at each place - a sure sign of our appreciation.

We are especially indebted to Tracy Lederer for her knowledgeable guidance and patience during the planning and booking process. We acknowledge that we were not the easiest clients to deal with but only because of the need to "get it right" for these once in a lifetime trips and Tracy was spot on with her recommendations and reassurances. It was obvious that her advice was informed by her personal experiences of the various locations.

Logistically, pretty much everything went without hitch. (Even a trekking pole which was left at Muchenje somehow found its way back to us at Maun airport on the way home - don't know how, but Tracy located it and engineered its reunion!!). Appreciating the remote locations reinforces our admiration for the efficiency of your operation, working with the local teams.

"We enjoyed our couple of days at Victoria falls, even though there was not much water in the Falls. It was a relaxing start to our trip

The Okavango Delta was amazing, even after so little rain in Botswana and Angola. We would certainly like to return when there is more water in the Delta.

We have visited several African countries and been on safari many times, so the focus on this trip was really to see the Delta, a unique ecosystem. Tracy really listened to what we wanted and after much discussion we felt we had the trip we wanted. We were delighted with the offer of a helicopter flight from Pelo camp back to Maun. We saw rhino from the air one of the few animals we had missed on safari.

"Our trip exceeded our high expectations for bucket list safari experience. Tracy, our coordinator at Expert Africa was easy to work with and tailored the trip to meet our needs. We appreciated that she had first hand knowledge of the camps that added weight to her recommendations.

In retrospect we should have added a couple extra days with no activities planned so that we could recharge our batteries. Ideally this would have been done in Namibia due to the stratospheric high cost of the lodges in Botswana.

Our Day trip to Sandwich Harbour was fantastic, and if we had to choose we would have ranked it higher than a scenic flight over the dunes. Overall, I think I would have had a less favorable opinion of my trip to Africa if I hadn't gone to Botswana.

"Lucy helped arrange our trip. She was wonderful. I travel a lot, and this is the first time I have used someone to plan a trip. It was so helpful, and Lucy was a pleasure to work with. Overall, it exceeded my expectations, and I learned more about my expectations and where I needed to be clearer in the future. What I really appreciated about Lucy, is I messed up a flight (spelled a name wrong on an airline ticket). I got no where in fixing it and Lucy jumped in and got it rectified.

"Overall it was a great trip and very well organized. Despite our booking the trip rather late EA managed to provide us a good mix of accommodation and we can honestly say that only one or two places were below average, most were excellent. Had we booked earlier I'm sure we would have been able to secure more first choice accommodation.
