"This was a varied and always interesting holiday. The camps suggested by Sarah provided contrasting experiences as to the differing types of camp, country and game.

We would certainly recommend anyone who is prepared to accept the relatively basic facilities of a mobile camp to spend some time with Andrew Harkness who was a relaxed, informative and very knowledgeable guide. We felt that nothing that could have been seen was missed.

The bush walk with Scoupe at Tau Pan was the highlight of our stay there.

The out of hours service was excellent when we ran into trouble with our flight from London on the outward journey as it was delayed by three hours putting our connection in Johannesburg at risk. As it happened we made it with seconds to spare. Nevertheless it was very reassuring to be able to speak to someone late at night even though we had made the booking ourselves." "This was a memorable trip. We highly enjoyed the contrast between the dry areas of the Kalahari and the lush waterways of the Caprivi. We thought the trip was very well paced by Maruska.

All arrangements went smoothly and we appreciated the advice on how to deal with roadblocks and the crossing into Botswana and back,

One of our objectives was to hike as much as possible. As it turned out, only Waterberg Wilderness Lodge and Erongo Wilderness Lodge offered enough opportunities for a day or two of walking but we realize that was the maximum feasible within the parameters we set ourselves.." "Wow, it was just wonderful everything went seamlessly. All we wanted to see, we saw - painted dogs, leopards, lions, cheetahs; the whole lot and more. Venues were superb and staff and guides brilliant at all the camps. If we did the same trip again we might stay an extra night at Lagoon, and sacrifice one night at Little Kwara, just because it was so good. Thanks Tracy for all your advice and help, (also Chris for his offer to help with the BA problems - which thankfully did not affect our return.

"We love this country. The people are so friendly. We felt very safe travelling around.

We learnt a few words of Setswana which was really appreciated.

This is a fascinating country, if you go ask about the history, Batswana are very proud of their country.

"We were 6 people wanting to avoid the bus tour type trip so that we could control our own schedule and itinerary.

It started with us trying to arrange everything but soon found it difficult to determine which location/accommodation would be "right" for us. Luckily, we came in contact with Expert Africa and the help and recommendations that were given were excellent and in the end, they arranged all the accommodations (save one), the safaris and the air charter. Their guidance on length of stay was very helpful and the resorts, hotels and safaris proved to be excellent and enjoyed by all.

We were guided by Sabina for the Namibia portion and Lucy for the Botswana portion and were rewarded with prompt responses and suggestions to our many questions.

"Everything was fine. We had a good start with the Olifants rest camp and a beautiful end with Muchenje lodge.

The staff who accompanied us all the way was very nice and efficient.

We also stayed for a few days at the Avani near the Victoria Falls, which you also recommend in your book on southern Africa, and were happy to be there. The hotel is pleasant.
