Kalahari Arms hotel
Not sign posted from the main road, but we found is reasonably easily anyway. Large swimming pool, but too cold this time of year, as elsewhere in Namibia and Botswana.
Nice location, in the middle of town, close to Spar and other shop.
A comfortable and clean nights stop
This was just a convenient place to stop in between two long days.
The rooms were clean comfortable and the food good and service friendly.

Just a stop over on our way back to Windhoek.

A comfortable hotel quite well appointed. The rooms were a little basic by some standards but clean and well maintained. No fridge but they provided ice.
Battery charging is possible via shaver point in the bathroom (and an EU converter). There was a TV (though we hadn't really missed that in other places!) We did have a little trouble finding the hotel as it isn't signed from the main road but it was only a matter of a few minutes. Latterly we realised that it is visible from the main road if you look down the appropriate side road as you pass.
The food was very good.
Very good for a one night stopover
The hotel was less smart than expected but was conveniently placed in the town centre. The external air-con unit was placed dangerously at head height. However, any shortcomings were outweighed by the tea-making facilities in the room, secure parking, TV and air conditioning, friendly, helpful staff and really excellent food.
The waiter, Aobakwe, was extremely obliging and, amazingly, appeared to be running the restaurant single-handedly.
stayed in the chalet.
Ghanzi bigger than we expected, and so was the Hotel.
Staff very helpful and large portions of good food at a reasonable price in the resturant.
Kalahari Arms Hotel review
An adequate overnight stop, but a little difficult to find as not well sign-posted from the main road.

Kalahari Arms hotel was fine, actually better than expected, comfortable and clean rooms with space and OK food. But there is absolutely nothing to do there except go to the supermarket and stay in the hotel.
