Elephant Pepper Camp’s canvas tents, overlooking the savannah plains of the Masai Mara, offer a luxurious but authentic safari experience: Tastefully furnished in Raj campaign style furniture interspersed with splashes of traditional Masai red, each tent consists of a main bedroom, ensuite bathroom with shower and flush toilet, private veranda and hammock. There are 4 double and 4 twin tents. All tents can fit one extra bed, to accommodate children under the age of 16yrs only. The elegant simplicity of each tent kindles the feeling of never being far from nature- the essence of an African safari.

Elephant Pepper Camp’s incredibly spacious honeymoon/family tents enjoy views over the Masai Mara plains and a salt lick frequented by visiting elephants. Each 100m2 Honeymoon/Family Tent consists of one spacious main bedroom, a separate lounge area/bedroom, ensuite bathroom (with double wash basins, shower and flush toilet), large veranda with seating and dining area, and a private campfire. Each Honeymoon Tent comfortably fits two extra beds, suitable for a family of four. With only canvas walls between you and nature, be serenaded by the sounds of the bush through the night.

Cultural visits

Visit a local Masai boma to learn more about the fascinating traditional lifestyle of one of Africa's most famed people. Learn how to throw a maasai spear, the importance of cows to the maasai, and view a traditional maasai dance. Guests also have the opportunity to visit one of the local schools supported by Elephant Pepper Camp.

Cultural visits are at a fee which goes directly to the village.
