"Perfect base for the spring wild flowers"

2 nights Arrived 28 Aug 2015
"This was our second time to Springbok. My feedback for the first occasion was not enthusiastic, but I now see that was unfair. Springbok town needs to be explored - it is vibrant and interesting. Springbok Lodge Restuarant in the centre of town is especially well worth a visit, for the shop or a coffee, or a meal. It is one of those quirky African places. You cannot book the restaurant, so timing is important if you want an evening meal.

Mountain View Guest House is very pleasant and the owner very friendly and helpful. Rooms and breakfast were perfect.

The spring wild flowers have to be seen to be believed. Recommended - (1) Nababeep village (2) the gravel road along the north boundary of Namaqua National Park. The road is pretty grim, but you don't need a 4x4 - keep going until the end of the Wildeperdehoek Pass - the view is extraordinary. The Namaqua Information Centre at the edge of town is very good and can provide daily updates on the flowers, recommended viewing locations and maps etc" See all these reviews: 13n in South Africa

3 nights Arrived 28 Aug 2014
"They provided good local information such as restaurants, tourist office.

It was quiet peaceful and comfortable.

We found Springbok very cold and damp, there had been heavy rain, and we were unprepared for such low temps." See all these reviews: 12n in South Africa

"A Perfect Stop in Springbok"

1 night Arrived 11 Dec 2012
"We stopped for one night on our way to Namibia and were delighted to have a comfortable room and exceptionally friendly service.

Even though the room was not as beautiful as others during our trip, it was comfortable and efficient. The staff was very friendly and helpful and recommended a great restaurant for dinner. Breakfast was great!" See all these reviews: 11n in Namibia; 8n in South Africa

"comfortable and secure"

1 night Arrived 16 Sep 2012
"well appointed thoughtful decoration of rooms with individual secure parking and private entrance and sitting area
beautifully kept garden, pool available

functional welcome, warm but somewhat lacking in personal interaction, didnt detract from the overall experience

somewhat poorly organised in room facilities (plastic bag with one sachet coffee and one tea bag /tea coffee creamer etc per guest)

We were only there for one night
Breakfast was well served and presented in a homely way" See all these reviews: 5n in Namibia; 5n in South Africa
