"Absolute Quality"

3 nights Arrived 1 Feb 2016
"Having stayed here over 20 years ago, the hotel has expanded, but very tastefully.

The beach is fantastic and there are plenty of other activities to try in the area." See all these reviews: 5n in South Africa

"Lovely Hotel in a wonderful position"

3 nights Arrived 6 Feb 2015
"Our overall experience was really good. The staff, service and food were excellent.

Our only negative is that the room we were allocated had a separate toilet which was essentially situated in the wardrobe with no hand washing facilities." See all these reviews: 8n in South Africa

"The Plettenberg review"

2 nights Arrived 9 Oct 2014
"The location of this hotel is excellent with view over the bay and easy access to the town.

The room was large, comfortable and well equipped.

We visited the Robberg Nature reserve and walked the trail. Fortunately the weather was good and the views across the bay, spectacular.

We had a very good meal in the restaurant.

Our only negative about the hotel is that the staff were a little over attentive, almost to the extent of being creepy." See all these reviews: 10n in South Africa; 4n in Botswana; 2n in Zimbabwe

"The Plettenberg review"

4 nights Arrived 16 Feb 2013
"Beautiful location in an area where there is plenty to do if you have a car. Good food in the hotel and a choice of restaurants within the town.

Soon to close for a referb we hear....but that is not necessary for our room which was on the small side but very comfortable." See all these reviews: 13n in South Africa; 3n in Zimbabwe

"The Plettenberg review"

4 nights Arrived 8 Mar 2011
"A very nice hotel on a superb headland location but a bit too formal and fancy for our tastes. The room was fine with a nice view; the food was very good but there was something missing.

We visited Emily Moon a couple of times and that was much more like the boutique Africa one wants." See all these reviews: 7n in South Africa
