"We had an excellent trip to Namibia and it was good to be back there after 10 years. We had a plan of where we wanted to stay, but due to lack of availability, our itinerary was not possible, and it was initially suggested that perhaps the trip should be postponed until 2020.

We were keen to visit in 2019, and Tom Morris worked extremely hard to come up with a workable itinerary. This he managed to do, keeping our trip to the area we had originally planned, encompassing some of the accommodation we had wanted and also introducing some new ones. The itinerary worked very well and gave us a mix of self-drive and guided drives.

"Overall we had a fabulous holiday in southern Tanzania - 4 days in Ruaha (Ikuka) followed by 3 nights in Selous (Siwandu) with a night either side in Dar. The two parks provided a wonderful contrast from the dry plains of Ruaha dotted with acacia and baobab trees to the the green riverine forest of Selous with its lakeside location. On balance we slightly preferred the luxury and glorious setting of Ikuka, but Siwandu was still very comfortable. Both camps provided fantastic and different animal sightings.
We haven't been to northern Tanzania but understand that southern Tanzania, Ruaha in particular, is an unknown gem.
Olivia did a really excellent job of arranging our holiday, patiently juggling arrangements to suit and answering all my questions. All the arrangements worked perfectly. There was always someone to meet us at the correct time and place. We would most definitely recommend Expert Africa and consider using them again for another holiday to Africa." "We have been travelling to Africa for over 12 years and this was our first trip to Kenya. Our overall experience was good with certain aspects being very good.

The majority of our fellow travellers were safari first timers and combining there holiday with a beach experience either on the coast or the island of Lamu. One of the attractions of a safari experience is meeting people from different parts of the world and sharing experiences and we were not disappointed on this trip." "We have been lucky enough to have gone on several safaris previously but not to Namibia.

Due to the landscape we found our Namibian safari totally different to the others that we have been on. An amazing place with amazing people, animals and lodges - they all contributed to make this a memorable holiday experience

"Overall it was completely fantastic the slight bumps did not cause us any major issues.

The country is fantastic, the animals were amazing but the people win my vote. The Xhosa people are warm, friendly, helpful with a high work ethic and an eagerness to learn, a joy to interact with.

We went from the old world glamour of the Blue Train to the vibe of the modern city of Cape Town. Then we enjoyed the laid back artistic atmosphere of Franschoek followed by whale watching at Hermanus and the surfing town that is Plettenberg. We needed with the amazing waterhole watching at Gorah followed by the long drives into the bush to see a wide range of local fauna and flora at Kwandwe." "An intensely memorable experience - fell in love with Kenya all over again.

Especially enjoyed the interaction with our guides and staff at the lodges - have witnessed first hand over the years how more and more local staff are establishing themselves as guides and managers which is fantastic. At times quite an extreme and adventurous trip, with journeys to remote parts where we were the oddity. We had difficulty agreeing our top three moments so had to settle for six!" "Wonderful introduction to the animals and landscapes of Botswana. Fantastic experience and will never forget it.
