"Wonderful morning kayak trip.

We got quite close to the thousands of seals that live at Walvis Bay. Many seals had young pups. They're very loud and amusing creatures.

We also saw jackals, flamingos and other animals I can't remember the name of.

"Another clear, sunny day for our day kayaking with the seals. Jeanne is a brilliant guide and very reassuring. We were not disappointed. It was a wonderful experience being so close to the seal pups and they are very familiar with tourists. Jeanne made sure we kept a respectful distance from those on the shore. All the equipment needed is provided and in addition we had a lovely sandwich, cake and coffee break. "Just do it. On our drive to the seal colony we learnt about the local salt industry and the history of Walvis Bay.

We saw greater and lesser flamingoes, jackals and thousands of seals. The seals swam around us, jumped onto our kayaks to hitch a lift and we tickled their tummies. What a privilege. Jeanne was fantastic. She took photos and videos of our experience which she emailed to us later in the day and provided sandwiches and drinks after kayaking." Read more about this whole safari

"Great fun - especially as the baby seals were just learning to swim.!

Jean was terrific and provided us with all the gear we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole morning - and were amazed to receive her videos of us the same afternoon.

It was during the breeding seasons so we were fortunate enough to see the baby seals.
