Guineafowl Fly-in Safari
This itinerary provides one of the most comprehensive safaris in Tanzania that one can do - starting with the iconic 'Northern Circuit' of Tarangire National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti, staying in excellent mid range tented camps. After ticking off fantastic wildlife and famed landscapes, then head to the remote western regions of the country, to Katavi National Park and Mahale Mountains National Park. Katavi receives roughly the same number of visitors in a day that the Serengeti receives in a year, so expect a totally different safari here. Mahale offers some of the best chimpanzee trekking in East Africa, in a stunning lakeside location. Finally, end the safari in luxury in the Selous Game Reserve, at a high end camp in a reserve that offers game drives, walking and boating.
