"Lion's Paw review"
We had high expectations for this accommodation after looking at the photos, but unfortunately were a bit disappointed especially for the price point. Staff were nice and polite, but untrained: there were many of them hanging around not quite sure what to do. We had to wait a long time to have drink orders taken; we were asked what time we wanted coffee the next morning, but no coffee would be ready when we arrived for breakfast, etc.
One of the rooms we were given was also the only one without any shade in the afternoon, making it extremely hot inside and on the balcony so we couldn't fully enjoy it.
Day game drive into the Ngorongoro crater was amazing - early start and close proximity led to a very peaceful early morning in the crater." See all these reviews: 9n in Tanzania
