Sand Rivers Camp: video gallery

Sand Rivers Camp: picture gallery

Sand Rivers Camp overlooks a wide bend of the Rufiji River.
The main area has a lounge with bright, comfy sofas and walls of stone and plasterwork...
...stylishly created whilst retaining a natural look and feel.
Seating areas all make the most of the stunning view.
Adjoining the lounge is the dining area with tables under thatch and on the terrace...
...although meals aren't always held where you expect!
There's also a pool, partly shaded by a beautiful baobab tree...
…and a 'Wi-Fi' corner with comfortable seating.
The 5 Standard riverside rooms are comfortable...
open to the front but raised off the ground and you will sleep securely in canopied beds.
Plenty of storage space available and each room has charging points.
The en-suite bathrooms are full of character and have a shower and toilet.
Two of the rooms are linked by a raised walkway, making them suitable for a family.
3 Suites situated further up the hill have wonderful views...
...and are more spacious, including a seperate lounge...
and plunge pool.
At Sand Rivers Camp there are a variety of activities on offer, including vehicle safaris...
…wonderfully informative walking safaris…
...enjoy a lovely swim in the hot pools between wildlife experiences.
Sand Rivers is well known for its excellent river safaris.
There is so much animal and bird life to see, such as waterbuck...
...and very large crocodiles!
Cruise up to the beautiful Stieglers Gorge where you might be lucky enough to see Pels fishing owl.
