The Hides main area is an A-frame building overlooking a waterhole.
Dove's NestFor the more adventurous The Hide offers the chance to spend an evening in an elevated tree house known as the Dove's Nest. Built in a large leadwood tree this three storey platform overlooks an open plain and a natural pan where animals often come to drink.
On the ground floor there is a bathroom containing a shower and a flush toilet. The middle floor is an open viewing platform with chairs and a hammock for enjoying an afternoon siesta, and where lunch can also be served on request. Sundowners are usually taken here, followed by dinner.
The wood and canvas bedroom on the top level is reached by stairway and trap door. A double bed faces a large woodslatted gauze window through which you can watch birds in the branches around you and enjoy the night sounds. A radio will be left with you to communicate with the main camp should it be necessary.
