Sprayview Hotel review
This is a nice hotel to enjoy Victoria Falls.
The Three Monkey's was a great place to eat.
High tea at the Vict Falls hotel was just OK.
Basic and far from falls but good
Looks a bit dilapidated but actually very nice and very comfortable rooms.
Helpful staff, tour bookings on site and tasty food. Main downside was that it is a bit in the middle of nowhere and they recommend not walking back at night. Was a long walk to the falls but very easy none the less.
Because of distance we ate dinner both nights in the hotel which was actually very good so no complaints from us and very happy to recommend to others.
Sprayview Hotel for Vic Falls
Very good location, reasonable service and rooms.

A pleasant hotel but obviously not a Lodge. Nice breakfasts.
Good pool..warmest swim on the trip.
Impressed by the Falls.
Sprayview Hotel review
Modern comfortable room
Good meals by the pool with friendly competent service.
Easy walking distance to Vic Falls centre, but more comfortable by taxi.
Sprayview and the Falls
An average big chain hotel with motel style rooms. Staff were friendly enough, but we were surprised as residents to have to pay for our dinners in cash at the table rather than have them on the bill. Breakfast was very good.
Location was right at the edge of the town, about 20 minutes walk from the centre. In retrospect, we should have taken the Expert Africa advice and stayed at one of the lodges in town. The town itself is well serviced by persistent hawkers on almost every street.
After the Falls, we did the 'Zambesi Loop' walk mentioned in the Rough Guide. The staff at the Tourist Information office stated that it was safe provided you were sensible (as did a guide from one of the local tour agencies). However, we were sensible, but still ended up closer to elephants on foot than was perhaps a good idea, and some local residents were certainly shocked that we were on that road on foot.

The rooms don't have mosquito nets. Instead, the staff spray insect killer in the room each night, then there are ear mosquito bodies covering the beds, floors, etc. Even with mosquito repellent I was bitten while I slept.

Sprayview Hotel thanked this traveller for her feedback. They advised that when there are a lot of mosquitoes around (which isn't all the time), they constantly spray the rooms to try and keep the effects on their guests to a minimum. Based on this feedback they will now ensure that the rooms are swept after spraying to clear away the insect bodies. The hotel noted that they also plan to put mosquito nets in the rooms and are working towards that now.
Comfortable hotel, but not ideal location
Sprayview is a comfortable option at Vic Falls, but just not within easy reach of the Falls. The pool area is very nice and the wifi reliable and fast (not essential but nice to have occasionally!).
The rooms are nice and clean, but the door locks are frustrating.
