"BullsPort Lodge and Farm review"

2 nights Arrived 31 May 2024
"The Naukluft Mountains are beautiful - the location is great. The owner/host couple were friendly and lovely. My adult kids went on an 8-mile hike in the mts and heard and then saw zebras as they hiked. That hike was too much for me and a lovely staff member accompanied me on a 3 1/2 hour walk. Next day, the husband of the couple took us on a drive in his 4x4 which was fabulous. We also saw the Quiver Trees - unique to Namibia. Fab!" See all these reviews: 15n in Namibia; 1n in South Africa

"The drive here was quite challenging for us on the C24 and D1206 but we had a lovely welcome (with tea and homemade cake) at Bullsport and our ‘luxury room’ was enormous and well appointed.

We did the Kudu Trail that afternoon then had a quick dip in their attractive but freezing cold pool.

Dinner was on the terrace with another couple of guests - a very tasty 3 course set meal.

The next day, after a lovely breakfast with delicious homemade bread, the owner was happy to let us check out late so we could do a 2hour walk in the mountains. Loved the stunning scenery .

We didn’t have enough time to do the Quiver Tree walk or the horse riding but still thought it was an excellent 1-night stay." See all these reviews: 14n in Namibia

"We have mixed feelings about Bulls Port. Good mid-point between DHI and Kulala Desert Lodge. Great farm, 14 lambs born the day we were there. Wonderful owners and staff. Great food and beverage. Took the paid trip to the "Rock Arch". Rough and a bit hazardous. Our driver/guide was great. Saw Mountain Zebras and Steenbok.
If you like you ride horses this an excellent stop." See all these reviews: 22n in Namibia; 3n in South Africa

"BullsPort Lodge and Farm review"

2 nights Arrived 5 Feb 2023
"BullsPort is a bit of an outlier compared with other accommodation as it’s a working farm and quite rustic which we enjoyed but may not be everyone’s expectation.

We were well looked after by the owner and did all of the local walks which were a good introduction to Namibia and allowed us to start spotting wildlife (mainly baboons, kudu, klipspringer and hyrax and one very surprised snake.). Food was simple but generous - we ate zebra two nights running and would have preferred some variation.

Overall clean, well located for a two night stop and a good insight into farm life in a desert.

We visited the Neuras vineyard after BullsPort and would recommend it for novelty value and a good cheese board." See all these reviews: 14n in Namibia
