"Good location overlooking the lagoon and a short walk from the Raft.
Compact room with no tea and coffee facilities although this was remedied immediately when queried with the staff.
Staff were very helpful. Secure off street parking.
Breakfast was poor so much so that on our last morning we skipped it and drove to the Village Bakery in Swok." See all these reviews: 14n in Namibia

"Solitaire is worth a visit en route to Walvis Bay. Poor welcome from Oyster Box, avoid downstairs room smelt of damp. Good secure parking as not safe to leave car in side street. Average lunch at Yacht Club. Drove around lagoon towards Pelican Point. Thousands of Flamingoes, Avocets, Cape Teal and others.
Raft Restaurant good location but poor service, average food, expensive. Reception (Alexia) made a complete muddle of our Dolphin Cruise, never informed us of departure time. so missed our breakfast. It was with Sunsail Catamarans an old dirty poorly maintained catamaran. Life jackets only supplied to children. Beware snappy seals on board.
Much better dinner at Anchors, delicious inexpensive food with charming waitress." See all these reviews: 19n in Namibia
