"The Delight review"

2 nights Arrived 14 Dec 2023
"The Delight is a delight!

Great hotel with nice extras like a warm hot water bottle in your bed for turn down service and an excellent breakfast buffet.

Some noise from the rooms on the casino side of the street on the weekends though." See all these reviews: 13n in Namibia

"The Delight review"

2 nights Arrived 12 Nov 2023
"The staff were very helpful and recommended some places to eat as they do not serve evening meals.

The rooms look out over a long courtyard which is beautifully laid out with lots of plants. They also booked our boat trip for the following day even though it was quite late in the day.

Being on the coast, the temperature in Swakopmund is considerably cooler than inland. We did not expect to have hot water bottles put in our beds when we returned to our room and the heating turned up. It was lovely and thoughtful.

A quirky hotel but thoroughly enjoyed our stay." See all these reviews: 15n in Namibia

"The Delight review"

1 night Arrived 2 Jul 2023
"We just had a brief stopover for a night at the delight in Swakopmund.

Swakopmund is a good base to explore the coastline and enjoy some of the activities there. We went quadbiking on the dunes which we would recommend.

The Delight is a nice hotel.

We weren't there long, and although a larger hotel the staff were friendly and helpful." See all these reviews: 11n in Namibia

"The Delight review"

1 night Arrived 19 May 2023
"Pleasant room. There was a problem with loud music coming from a nearby venue. The hotel manager came out especially to stop it going beyond midnight and apologised to us the next morning.

An employee also helped us with a flat tyre on our car the next morning.

Surprisingly the best and most efficient breakfast of the trip including oysters!" See all these reviews: 13n in Namibia

"The delight is clean, comfortable and well located in Swakopmund and everywhere was within easy walking distance.

We loved dinner at the tug. Swakopmund is also a great base for adventure in its own right.

We kayaked with seals this trip and offroaded through the dunes down to sandwich harbour on our previous visit." See all these reviews: 21n in Namibia

"Delightful place for a pitstop on our trip, centrally located in Swakopmund.

It was cold and windy on the coast so we were happy to find hot water bottles provided in the turn down service.

Laundry service is reasonably priced and quick." See all these reviews: 15n in Namibia

"The Delight review"

3 nights Arrived 15 Aug 2022
"Quirky hotel with great family rooms (over split level), very good service and lovely breakfasts.

Only downside is that the buildings that the rooms are housed in are wooden only so very cold (day and night) and did creak quite a lot.

The hotel staff did bring hot water bottles around at bedtime though which was amazing!" See all these reviews: 13n in Namibia
