The rooms look out over a long courtyard which is beautifully laid out with lots of plants. They also booked our boat trip for the following day even though it was quite late in the day.
Being on the coast, the temperature in Swakopmund is considerably cooler than inland. We did not expect to have hot water bottles put in our beds when we returned to our room and the heating turned up. It was lovely and thoughtful.

Swakopmund is a good base to explore the coastline and enjoy some of the activities there. We went quadbiking on the dunes which we would recommend.
The Delight is a nice hotel.

We loved dinner at the tug. Swakopmund is also a great base for adventure in its own right.

It was cold and windy on the coast so we were happy to find hot water bottles provided in the turn down service.

Only downside is that the buildings that the rooms are housed in are wooden only so very cold (day and night) and did creak quite a lot.

I immediately complained and got then a sunny room overlooking the street. The hotel was not fully booked at all. So...
