"Four Rosmead review"

4 nights Arrived 7 Nov 2022
"Helpful at booking Table Mountain, and with advice. Expected proactive input on load shedding not forthcoming, which happened twice, once affected us and killed off the wifi after an hour, UPS failed.

Nice large room with side view of Table Mountain.

John the security/night man was great.

Everything seems to revolve around Uber and the app, great I guess if you have trust and do not have a hire car.

Bacini restaurant nearby was our saviour one take away we walked for and two eat ins we drove as it is not safe to walk when it is dark. Parking safe behind the restaurant there is a guard who does not expect payment, how refreshing!" See all these reviews: 7n in Namibia; 5n in South Africa

"Four Rosmead review"

4 nights Arrived 9 Sep 2022
"We enjoyed our stay here. It was very well located. The staff were excellent and very helpful. They asked us what we were hoping to do & visit and with their advice booked all our activities and restaurants.

Our rooms were very comfortable and we had a lovely view of Lions Head. Tea/coffee available plus mini bar in room. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. There was a very nice communal seating area to make yourself comfortable. I think it would of been nice in this area if they has tea/coffee making facilities.

A lovely looking swimming pool which we didn't use as we visited in Spring.

We would definitely recommend." See all these reviews: 4n in South Africa; 3n in Botswana; 2n in Zimbabwe

"Lovely guest house in Ideal location"

4 nights Arrived 13 Oct 2019
"Small, well-appointed and well-run guest house in a safe area with very attentive and helpful owners who gave us lots of advice as to restaurants, day trips, best walking routes etc.

The location is excellent - a 10 mins walk to the stop for the hop-on-hop-off bus which we used for 2 days of our 3 day Cape Town visit, within a 10 minute walk of Kloof St. for restaurants, and a short taxi ride from The Waterfront.

Breakfast was plentiful, lots of choices, fresh fruit, local breads and pastries, plus cooked breakfast if required.

Would certainly base ourselves here if we visit Cape Town again." See all these reviews: 8n in Namibia; 4n in South Africa; 3n in Botswana

"An absolute gem in the centre of Cape Town"

1 night Arrived 25 Feb 2018
"This was quite an experience - sadly for only one night.

A very friendly and helpful welcome, and a room and ensuite that just could not be faulted whether in respect of size, facilities or extras. They even provided a basket containing a frisbee to go to the beach!

Breakfast was delicious and nicely served.

The owners had simply thought of everything." See all these reviews: 18n in Namibia; 5n in South Africa

"Fantastic!"

5 nights Arrived 6 Sep 2017
"This was more like a 5 star hotel rather than a guest house, certainly one of our favourites during our trip. Our room was on the ground floor with French doors to the side garden. It was squeaky clean with a VERY comfortable bed and lovely bathroom.

The staff here were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. They helped with driving suggestions and directions, booked taxis and reservations for evening meals and were always sociable without being intrusive.

The food at breakfast was excellent with a good choice of cereals, meats and fruit followed by anything cooked on request and everything was of high quality and beautifully presented. The communal areas were bright, well decorated and immaculately clean.

Unfortunately it was too cold to make use of the pool, but if we ever returned to Cape Town, we would have no hesitation in recommending and staying here- we loved it!" See all these reviews: 10n in South Africa; 3n in Zimbabwe; 2n in Botswana
