"Vic Falls"
Visiting Victoria Falls was a breathtakingly spiritual experience. Got soaked to the skin of course!
Then dried off and walked to Zambia and had lunch at the Royal Livingstone Hotel - a beatiful place in a stunning location. Delicious food too!" See all these reviews: 17n in Namibia; 2n in Zimbabwe
"Lovely stay at Ilala"
The location was perfect -- being able to walk to the Falls was great. There is not much else to "do" in Victoria Falls, but we didn't even need to leave. One should be aware that prices are all in USD throughout, so it was expensive. The sundowner cruise was very nice -- high quality boat, nice staff, ample food and beverage.
We also did a tandem zipline with Wild Horizons, which was super fun." See all these reviews: 5n in Botswana; 3n in Zimbabwe

"Very comfortable hotel"
"Ilala Lodge review"
A little bit quieter than the larger hotels in the area.
Their menu and range of choice has improved since our last visit." See all these reviews: 9n in Zimbabwe; 7n in Zambia
"A haven of peace at Victoria Falls"
Food very good and rooms quiet and comfortable with the added spectacle of baby warthogs doing heats for the 100m sprint." See all these reviews: 6n in Botswana; 6n in South Africa; 2n in Zimbabwe

"Ilala Lodge review"
Everyone at the hotel was very friendly. Food was good, but recommend at least one meal at the Victoria Falls Hotel, which is a short walk away. Spent a morning birding in Zambezi NP with Charles Brightman, which was excellent.
Helicopter flight was great, though do not think the longer flight is worth the extra money." See all these reviews: 15n in Zimbabwe
"Great place to stay"
Our very pleasant room was on the lower floor with glass doors to a small patio and the gardens. The odd warthog wandered past. Service was faultless and staff went the extra mile, offering to run errands for us and keen to ensure we had a comfortable and relaxing stay. Dinner was okay, but breakfast was absolutely superb.
Lovely pool and terrace, with quiet, shady courtyard to escape the heat.
Building work on the new wing was almost complete and it seems as though the hotel will double in size. I hope the 'small and friendly' atmosphere is retained." See all these reviews: 13n in Namibia; 5n in Zimbabwe; 4n in Botswana
