Food was excellent, our room very comfortable and the pool very welcome. Walking in the bush was excellent with great local birdlife and the chance to look at various nearby rock art sites. The rooms are too close to each other so one can hear conversations.
On the positive, the location is beautiful and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

We understand that there’s always a vegetable-based starter option, ‘mixed seasonal vegetables’ with the main course and also a green salad – but the owners assure us that they’ll look at their food again with a keen eye on its ‘healthiness’.
Most recently they completed a “complete overhaul and refurbishment” just prior to the coronavirus pandemic. We’re sorry if the deliberately ‘rustic’ feel of the lodge appeared to these clients as the lodge ‘showing its age’.

Saw some nice wildlife and enjoyed the rock art on the sundowner drive. Went on the trail by camp the following morning; scenery was impressive though the rock art wasn't as good as the night before.

We did a self-walking trail, which I highly recommend, and a visit to the San Bushmen Living Museum with a guide. Absolutely amazing experience!! The only regret was that we stayed for only 1 night." See all these reviews: 14n in Namibia

All the facilities here were first rate. The food excellent, the staff very accommodating.
