"We always knew that we might have to compromise a bit due to the short notice to arrange this trip. However, Liz was extremely helpful and worked hard to match our requirements with the locations and camps. She did flag up the dinning arrangements at Impala and her reservations proved to be correct. Although we would not return there, we still enjoyed our stay and that arrangement obviously works well for other people.
Our itinerary was in exactly the right order, starting with the most 'authentic' camp and working up in quality to finish with Beho Beho. We would really have struggled if we'd gone there first and then moved on to the other camps.
This is our 4th or 5th holiday with Expert Africa and we will keep coming back because of the quality of service and knowledge of the locations.

"we have been on a good number of safaris to many locations in africa. this rates as one of the best we have experienced with very good game viewing, keen and informative guides and excellent accommodation.

"As near perfect as one could expect, and actually more so than we did expect.

Can't think of any. All transfers went like clockwork. Everybody seemed to be in the right place at the right time and the hotels were wonderful.
As a matter of interest, before we left, I did enquire about hairdriers. Ellie was away, and my enquiry was dealt with by somebody else. My information was that Beho Beho don't have them in the rooms, but actually they do.
I think it would have been helpful to know that absolutely everything is included at both hotels, and there isn't a bill for bar, laundry or other extras on checking out. We could have got away with taking far less if we had appreciated that. We may have been told, but perhaps it should be in capital letters!" "We had expected an itinerary which we only got from our guide on arrival in Ruanda.
We found we had a very long and bumpy trip from Kigali to Nyungwe and from Nyungwe to Kibuye. These were unexpected and not pleasant.
We wondered why we had 4 nights in mountain view lodge rather than 3 nights and last night in Kigali> Most others seemed to do this.
THE PERSON WHO MADE OUR TRIP SPECIAL WAS OUR DRIVER IN RWANDA, AIMABLE. He broke our long journey to Nyungwe with a stop at the National museum. He made our last day in Rwanda special as he suggested we left very early so we could spend time at the Genocide museum before we caught our flight to Zanzibar. He shared his own experiences of the politics of Rwanda and the Genocide. He really looked after us

"Overall half was very satisfactory and I am grateful to Liz for recommending Kwihala, when I had originally been looking at Mwagusi. I have no hesitation in recommending this lovely camp and will be returning there myself next year! Sand Rivers was my choice because friends had stayed there previously but I would have liked a bit more of the "flavour" of the camp in my discussions with Liz as in hindsight I would have preferred to go elsewhere, plus 5 nights there was too long.
I would also have appreciated a very clear "you must get a visa" as opposed to a recommendation to get one - other African airports issue visas on arrival with no trouble and I had thought Dar es Salaam would be the same - how wrong I was. "A great holiday, well organised, we were met at every point, our driver/guide in Rwanda, Sam was very good. The holiday met our requirements and are looking forward to next year.

Please really emphasis the damp and coldness of the mountains when going to Rwanda to see the gorillas, it is not so much as to what to wear when climbing but how to keep warm in the rooms as everything feels damp, also take a torch as the rooms can get dark as the generators are only on for certain times, can make reading difficult." "The whole trip worked very well. The organisation was superb. We had no worries or hiccups.
A thoroughly enjoyable holiday with abundant game, birds, great fishing and bush walks in the Selous. We were really very pleased with everything.
