"The privilege of being in the Okavango Delta"

I visited Botswana between 18 May 2008 and 2 Jun 2008
"We use the word privilege quite deliberately. This place is magical and let none of the few of us who are lucky enough to able to go ever forget how privileged we are to have done so .

That we were able to be in this incredible environment , seeing so many wonderful animals and birds , whilst also staying in very beautiful and comfortable camps was almost surreal! The Botswanans could teach the rest of the world a great deal in how to provide hospitality and to live life wth dignity and joy....every single Botswana we came into contact with was a credit to their country and the teams in the camps were uniformly delightful and excellent .

The only risk factor in going here of course , is that you take pot luck with the other tourists!! ...we were pretty lucky in that too though we heard a few stories from the guides that showed that sometimes , just sometimes , tourists with lots of money canfail dismally to be a credit to their country!

We would recommend going to Botswana very highly indeed and to do so with Expert Africa and Wilderness Safaris .It is an experience that we can say without exaggeration has the power to be lifechanging" Read full review: 15 nights in Africa; 11 on a Botswana safari

"Botswana 2008"

I visited Botswana between 11 May 2008 and 29 May 2008
"Claire sorted the itinerary (I also spoke to Chris) then Susannah took over.

The holiday was excellent, the mobile safari was tops for us.

Comparing this trip with our Tanzania one, we prefer being able to travel by land more and experiencing more of the real country as well as the wild life." Read full review: 18 nights in Africa; 9 on a Botswana safari

"Fantastic Trip - Can't Wait to Return!"

I visited Botswana between 10 May 2008 and 30 May 2008
"Our trip was wonderful!

Susannah was brilliant. She showed incredible patience and helpfulness despite the fact we extended our trip twice and wanted to change flights very late in the day.

Suggestions for improvement:

Continue doing what you! We have always found the whole team at Expert Africa to be very helpful and knowledgeable." Read full review: 20 nights in Africa; 11 on a Botswana safari

"Best Holiday Ever"

I visited Botswana and 1 other country between 8 May 2008 and 21 May 2008
"Having been on our first safari in Kenya 18 months ago, we had a better idea of what we wanted from this holiday. We had very high expectations of what this holiday should be, everyone of these expectations was exceeded and not just by a small amount.

Our only problem now is how to follow this. It was a holiday of a lifetime and we are already trying to work out how to go back and challenge Expert Africa to find something better but we don't think they will." Read full review: 13 nights in Africa; 9 on a Botswana safari

""

I visited Botswana and 2 other countries between 8 May 2008 and 25 May 2008
"Overall, a very enjoyable and well organised trip. Because we had been so well briefed by Susannah, we were not disappointed.... as expected,we had to look for game (that tall grass is just so amazing - it hid a whole herd of buffalo!) and despite some reservations about Kwara (which was not our preferred choice but availability was low when we booked) we were pleasantly surprised by Kwara.

Selinda was lovely and Azura was superb. My husband said that he would remember the view of the Zambezi from Tongabezi forever........it was very special." Read full review: 17 nights in Africa; 6 on a Botswana safari

"A great holiday"

I visited Botswana and 1 other country between 3 May 2008 and 18 May 2008
"We had a great holiday and a great experience. The balance of locations was right for us. We chose three Kwando camps to keep the cost down, but have no regrets. We enjoyed them all, and we will remember fondly the breakfasts around the campfires at daybreak.

Jacks Camp was amazing, and we were lucky in that we had a free upgrade to it having originally booked San Camp.

The travel arrangements all went like clockwork. We had no delays, even when the journey had several components, as when travelling from the Victoria Falls to Lebala. We were also extremely grateful to Claire for sorting out an alternative flight when Nationwide went out of business. We met up with people left to flounder by other travel companies.

Thanks for all your help, and apologies for the delay in retuning this feedback.

I really can't think of any." Read full review: 15 nights in Africa; 12 on a Botswana safari

"1st trip with you and you delivered, thankyou"

I visited Zambia and 1 other country between 15 Feb 2008 and 1 Mar 2008
"We were the first of the season visitors at Mchenja with new camp managers, Richard and Susie. There were frought moments for them but they handled them well and we wish them every success.

Our flight and road transfers worked well and we should like to mention Geoff Chilongo who met us each time in Lusaka airport and smoothed our passage through.

Selinda provided two high spots, a cheetah stalk and kill and a group of 3 lionesses with 7 cubs. Lagoon provided the ultimate highlight of our trip with good sightings of a pack of wild dogs. Although the camp is beginning to look a little dated, this however is to its advantage in that it deters the spa safari clientele." Read full review: 15 nights in Africa; 7 on a Zambia safari
