Room types at Migration Camp
Luxurious Elevated Tents
Twenty luxurious and elevated tents are incredibly spacious and tastefully decorated in rich dark wood and leather furnishings. Serengeti Migration Camp tents have the feel of a stately hotel room, but with canvas walls to let the sounds of the African bush remind you of your truly wild location. Large wrap-around verandahs afford 360-degree views of the surrounding African bush. All tents are ensuite, with double basin vanities, large hot showers, and flush toilets.
Activities at Migration Camp
The Serengeti is a vast landscapes of grassy plains and rocky kopjes traversed by arteries of life-giving rivers. The area is abound with plentiful wildlife, and renowned for hosting the annual Great Migration of 2 million wildebeest, zebra and Thompson's Gazelle.
Seregenti Migration Camp lies on the northerly route of the Serengeti Migration, with the landscapes dotted from horizon to horizon with wildebeest April to early June, and October through November.
Enjoy a morning, evening or full day game drive with gourmet packed breakfasts and picnic lunches to be amongst the action.
Grumeti River Bush Walks
Take a refreshing amble along the Grumeti river, past pods of grunting hippos. With an expert guide, experience nature at a slower pace, looking for evidence of the previous nights animal activities, learning and understanding about flora and it's medicinal uses, and appreciating the smaller creatures of the Serengeti eco-system. A bush walk is a fascinating and educational experience, and an enjoyable way to stretch the legs.
