"Ndutu Safari Lodge comments"

2 nights Arrived 21 Feb 2017
"A very nice comfortable Lodge, with the cabins a short walk from the Lodge where the food is served.

The staff were great, the food good, the location was beautiful. Cabins are well maintained and comfortable. They were very efficient in seating and serving people. It seemed to be a very well run establishment.

I had a minor issue with the wifi connection (which in hindsight seemed beyond trivial to even bring it to their attention) and they contacted me quickly about my issue." See all these reviews: 4n in Tanzania

"The lodge had a real safari feel to it, being an open camp in the Serengeti. Great accommodation in stone cottages.

Atmospheric camp fire after dinner in the evenings. Very relaxed and peaceful." See all these reviews: 6n in Tanzania; 5n in Zanzibar

"Ndutu Safari Lodge review"

2 nights Arrived 29 Dec 2013
"We found everyone very helpful , the rooms were fairly basic but quite adequate considering their location . Lovely views of the bush and welcoming camp fire in the evenings.

Some evenings the food was excellent, and on a few it was distinctly average but given to us in large quantities !" See all these reviews: 12n in Tanzania; 1n in Kenya

"Great for safaris even before migration"

3 nights Arrived 27 Nov 2013
"Ndutu is a lovely place and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The rains had not arrived and it was very dusty on safari, but this did not spoil the fantastic game viewing we enjoyed mainly due to the ken eyes of our guide Ayoub who we cannot praise more highly for a wonderful trip.

The Ndutu staff were friendly and warm, the food was good and the accommodation was great too." See all these reviews: 5n in Tanzania; 3n in Zanzibar

"Wonderful safari at Ndutu Lodge"

4 nights Arrived 28 Jan 2012
"This was just as I had imagined a safari would be - great setting, wonderful wildlife viewings (although the migration had mostly moved on)

Altogether just my cup of tie. i don't know if this is where you'd like me to mention our guide but Harry absolutely made the holiday and I'm sure we saw more than most people. He drove miles to catch up with the migrating wildebeest and I think we only had breakfast once at the lodge. Otherwise we were on the go all day taking out a picnic breakfast or lunch every day. He was also very knowledgeable about everything and told us many fascinating stories." See all these reviews: 7n in Tanzania

"Ndutu Safari Lodge review"

4 nights Arrived 28 Jan 2012
"We really enjoyed staying at Ndutu. It is such a wonderful setting and I felt it had a nice unpretentious atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the food was really good. It made a great base for exploring the Serengeti and having 4 nights there gave us time to do that.

The only slight problem was trying to reconfirm our flights. The various staff in Reception seemed to regard this as a strange and unusual request and in the end our driver/guide phoned through to his head office and they did it for us." See all these reviews: 7n in Tanzania
