Activities at Singita Mara River
Game drive
Daily game drives with professional guides and trackers provide the perfect opportunity to get up close to Africa’s incredible animals, while late afternoon drives reveal the elusive magic of nocturnal Africa. Our game drives are all conducted in state-of-the-art Land Cruisers, each accommodating a maximum of six guests. The location of Singita Mara River Tented Camp provides excellent opportunities to view the river crossings of the annual wildebeest migration. As the Lamai triangle forms part of the Serengeti Mara ecosystem, you will experience year-round concentrations of plains game, big cats, elephant and enormous populations of crocodile and hippo in the Mara River.
Swimming
Singita Mara River Tented Camp offers a plunge pool at the main camp area, the perfect place for a relaxing dip under the vast African sky.
Wine Tasting
Singita is recognised as one of Africa’s most influential collectors of wine, with an extensive cellar showcasing a premium selection of wines, including some of the continent’s most sought-after private reserves, including Exclusive Release, Limited Single Vineyard and Rare Auction Wines. Personalised wine tastings within the unique ambience of each lodge’s own temperature-controlled cellar are a true guest favorite, for connoisseurs and casual tasters alike. Singita’s experienced sommeliers are able to guide guests through a variety of wine styles, years and cultivars to find the wines most suited to their individual tastes.
