"My Oct 2013 trip"

I visited Zimbabwe and 1 other country between 27 Oct 2013 and 10 Nov 2013
"This was a "special" holiday and it certainly lived up to expectations. Zimbabwe was absolutely wonderful, both camps were different but excellent and we saw more wildlife than I had expected. It was a real privilege to view it so closely and to be accompanied by guides who had expert knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for their subject.

Zimbabwe is a wonderful place and never have we felt safer anywhere. Everyone should go there - whatever you think of the regime, it is the people who need tourists and go out of their way to make them have such a good time.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

We hardly needed any money on our trip as so much was included, but in Bulawayo we could only use Visa cards, which I suspect was the case for other places.

We had intended to get our visa prior to travel, but when I 'phoned the Embassy, they assured me that it was easy to get one on arrival in Zimbabwe. A second call revealed that you needed to apply for a form which would take a week to arrive and then collect the visa from London. It was easy enough to get one at Vic Falls airport, but the queue was very lengthy and it took a long time to get through. It would seem that the Embassy make it difficult to get one in advance." "My Sep 2013 trip"

I visited Zimbabwe between 23 Sep 2013 and 5 Oct 2013
"A very enjoyable holiday with the highlight the whole Camp Hwange experience. Victoria Falls was well worth seeing particularly when staying at the Vic Falls Hotel, a lovely old world hotel supplying excellent modern services. With hindsight I would now tailor the trip to include one more night in Camp Hwange and one less in Amalinda.

I am strongly recommending this to my family and hope they can enjoy this experience next year." Read full review: 12 nights in Africa; 10 on a Zimbabwe safari

"My Aug 2013 trip"

I visited Zimbabwe between 9 Aug 2013 and 21 Aug 2013
"Initially it was a nightmare trying to find out where to go and what to do, too many choices. We saw Expert Africa making comments to other travellers on Trip advisor and saw positive feedback so contacted EAfrica. This was a good idea as soon Claire was giving me ideas and options from the experienced people there.

We had already booked the London flights before we heard of EA so we need to fill in an itinerary from arrival. EA sorted all internal flights and our stay in Vic Falls and Safari. This was great and a big help. To be honest we would have booked the Cape Town end with you but the options you gave didn't fit my budget or what we wanted accommodation wise.

In the end we stayed at Cape Royal apart/hotel which was excellent and Lawhill apartments which were good too and very resonable perhaps you could add them to your list. We also booked direct with a lovely small b and b in Gansbaai called Cliff Lodge in De Kelders, this place is fantastic right on the sea great location and the owner Gideon could not do enough for you I highly recommend you contact him.

Anycase a big thanks to Claire and Expert Africa for all the help we would definitely use you again. We loved the pre flight pack you sent us with the bag tags and wallet really a nice touch. Sadly we didn't do the books you sent justice so to save paper perhaps give the client the choice if they would like the books or not as would have said no thanks" Read full review: 12 nights in Africa; 4 on a Zimbabwe safari

"This trip was everything we hoped for. It was efficiently arranged and all transfers went smoothly.

Any issues we had like inefficient airports, horrible flights and delayed luggage are outside your control.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

Unless you can find a more direct route from Manchester to Zimbabwe, which I'm sure you can't, we have no complaints at all.

Thank you for a wonderful trip." Read full review: 11 nights in Africa; 9 on a Zimbabwe safari

"Botswana and Zimbabwe, June 2013"

I visited Botswana and 1 other country between 31 May 2013 and 22 Jun 2013
"It was a brilliant trip.

The only thing we might have changed on hindsight was that we wouldn't have ended in Camp Hwange, but started there. We saw significantly more in Botswana, so the change to Hwange required some adjustment on our part." Read full review: 22 nights in Africa; 6 on a Botswana safari
