"Onguma Bush Camp"
Bush camp is absolutely fine and we found the bar restaurant area overlooking the waterhole a very pleasant place to enjoy the end of the day, Rooms were well maintained but without minibars / fridges and quite compact. Service was good.
Access to the Onguma site is on a gravel road we though could do with some maintenance.
It was fun to see wildlife at the waterhole adjacent to the camp." See all these reviews: 7n in Namibia
"Onguma Bush Camp"
Beautiful, spacious well appointed individual chalets. A great restaurant and lounge area overlooking its own waterhole. This is 5 star safari experience!!!
Very helpful and friendly staff. We went on the sundowner tour and the guide knew exactly where to find a pride of lions - we were up close and personal for quite a long magical time. And then off to a quiet open location where we could get out of the truck and enjoy a drink as we witnessed the beautiful setting sun!!!
Excellent food, friendly, helpful staff in beautiful surroundings - can't ask for more than that!!!!" See all these reviews: 14n in Namibia
"Fantastic camp in a beautiful setting"
Our waterhole view room was spacious and beautifully decorated. Drinks round the camp fire and the cosy lounge above the waterhole made for relaxing evenings, and the African Tales bedtime story on the pillow was a lovely touch.
The early morning bush walk in the reserve is great way to start the day before taking yourself into Etosha.
The camp staff were incredibly kind, polite and we really enjoyed staying at Onguma!" See all these reviews: 10n in Namibia
"A well located stopover camp"
"Close base for Etosha visits"
"Nice accommodation and handy for etosha"
"Good time at Onguma"
The food was very good. Our son also really like the 'play room'.
Being outside the park is slightly inconvenient with small children as you have to cut your gamedrives at bit short to be at the lodge at a sensible time (for the kids)." See all these reviews: 18n in Namibia; 4n in South Africa
