"A Great Stay at Taleni! "

2 nights Arrived 19 Feb 2018
"I really didn't know what to expect from Taleni Etosha Village but what a wonderful surprise! The feel of the property is just very happy. I love the fun, camp-like atmosphere and the communal areas to eat and play.

The dinner buffet was outstanding, with so many different options.

The rooms/chalet tents are simple but clean and comfortable. The balcony is a nice, peaceful place to relax after a long day in the park.. We found the staff to be very warm and friendly, and everyone greeted us with smiles.

The only reason for not giving 5 stars is just that the rooms are simple and not as stylish or cozy as other places we stayed but we would definitely return for the great food, clean lodging, convenience to Etosha, and wonderful staff!" See all these reviews: 9n in Namibia

"Very comfortable Place to stay"

1 night Arrived 4 Jan 2017
"Taleni was very nice. Our room was clean and comfortable. We went swimming in the pools and they were good. While I am not a big fan of buffets, their had a lot of choices and was very good. I enjoyed the grilled meat station at dinner time. The staff was friendly and helpful." See all these reviews: 7n in Namibia

"Brand new rooms at Taleni Etosha Village"

2 nights Arrived 28 May 2016
"Pleasantly surprised by brand new rooms at Taleni Etosha Village! No longer tents - instead very spacious permanent bungalows, excellent beds and nice, light, big bathroom. Nice patio for sundowner drinks. Parking directly outside your bungalow.

Great location near entrance to National Park.

Food was excellent - large selection of game meats, lots of variety of other items. Good wine list at reasonable prices.

Multiple swimming pools very pleasant." See all these reviews: 14n in Namibia; 4n in Botswana

"Taleni Etosha Village review"

1 night Arrived 7 Oct 2015
"The tent had AC (most welcome). The chef was very accommodating (he cooked me fish which was not in the buffet).

The receptionist was an idiot, making stupid jokes about us being in the wrong lodge (this after we had a long and tiring drive), and about meal times. He also forgot to order us packed breakfasts, which we asked him to arrange when we arrived, so we had to hang around in the morning for an hour while they sorted it out. I complained to the manager about him." See all these reviews: 16n in Namibia; 3n in Zimbabwe

"Taleni Etosha Village review"

2 nights Arrived 3 Aug 2014
"Although the rooms were a little less luxurious than some places we stayed on the trip they were great. Pull out beds for kids meant space tight but fine for our 8 year olds.

Despite being a bigger camp this didn't detract from the feeling of space around you. Buffet style meals were excellent and the kids loved going back for more freshly barbecued game. Nice pool area and water reasonably bearable by Namibian winter standard! Short and easy drive into Etosha" See all these reviews: 22n in Namibia

"Taleni Etosha Village review"

2 nights Arrived 14 Nov 2013
"The best part of this lodge, for us, was staying in the tent. it was so cleverly designed and although there were other tents around they were placed so that they felt very private. Sleeping with all the flaps zipped open was almost like sleeping outside. Great fun.

Again, staying outside the park excluded us from night drives and the in park lodge waterhole." See all these reviews: 13n in Namibia
