"Overall"

I visited Zambia between 7 Sep 2009 and 25 Sep 2009
"Outward flight was awful and not a good start to our holiday.

Both Shenton Camps were excellent - special to Tom in the bush camp - he was a wonderful host.

6 nights at Chongwe was too long, but this happened due to the Bush Buck Camp not opening.

Return flight very uncomfortable - in fact BA was the only reason our level of satisfactory was not higher.

Suggestions for improvements:

No - you are doing a good job!" Read full review: 18 nights in Africa; 16 on a Zambia safari

"good but not outstanding safari"

I visited Zambia between 2 Sep 2009 and 16 Sep 2009
"we think the publicity for zambia raises the expectation of seeing leopards too high. the four of us have been on quite a number of safaris but even so we expected to see leopard when of course it is very much in the lap of the gods and we were unlucky." "Magical Safari!"

I visited Zambia between 15 Aug 2009 and 25 Aug 2009
"Anna did a wonderful job trying to maximize the safari experience. The lodging was all quite different, and so was the terrain. Each camp was very special in its own way. I might have switched a night at Kapani for one at Kakuli as I really enjoyed the imitmacy of the bush experience and lack of safari jeeps!

Everything more or less worked like clock work and I felt we got the most out of each camp we stayed at. It was just a wonderful experiencece and I would highly recommend Zambia for safari .

I loved Expert Africa's website and this is how I discovered the company. The pricing was also fair and I will use Expert Afirica for my next safari .It was truly a magical trip so thanks for your wonderful expertise!

Suggestions for improvements:

Umm..not really..had to ask a few questions prior to going about logistics of meet and greet. But, I truly felt that I was in great hands as Anna had been to these lodges and listened to what I wanted from this safari." Read full review: 10 nights in Africa; 10 on a Zambia safari

We feel that Lucy understood exactly what we had in mind while planning this trip: her suggestions regarding the itinerary and the lodges proved to be fantastic.

"Zambia - Bush experience at its best"

I visited Zambia between 29 Jul 2009 and 25 Aug 2009
"The economic climate made this trip more expensive than it might have been 12 months earlier. But once you leave Lusaka you can forget the rest of the world, forget money, forget politics, the weather or anything else that disturbs your equilibrium: simply immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the bush. The people involved in putting this bush experience together restore your faith in human nature.

This was a great trip, but then again I have never had a bad trip in Africa. The dilema, as ever, is whether to return again or move on and extend your experiences. Would we go back - no question!

Suggestions for improvement:

This was a trip difficult to criticise - and certainly in terms of planning and booking there were no questions left unanswered and no issues that caused a problem. You know when the ref has had a good game, you don't hear the whistle. Expert seem to handle things much the same way. Thank you." Read full review: 27 nights in Africa; 11 on a Zambia safari

"Zambia 30 years on!"

I visited Zambia and 2 other countries between 23 Jul 2009 and 12 Aug 2009
"Zambia surpassed all expectations.

I wanted to go back to Zambia where I grew up and give my family a positive snapshot of the country. The Victoria Falls is indeed a natural wonder of the world and the helicopter flight along the gorges was thrilling.

Robin Pope Safaris were exceptional to the point that nothing else measured up! We saw all the game we had hoped to see and discovered the magnificent birds of Southern Africa. It was a pleasure to be in the company of such wonderful guides and staff.

My husband and youngest daughter are now converts to river fishing, having enjoyed it so much on the "Mighty Zambezi!"

Mozambique, Bazuruto Island was disappointing because of the activity staff's failure to engage with us. I would not recommend the resort to people who are not going to sunbathe all day." Read full review: 20 nights in Africa; 10 on a Zambia safari
