What a treat! Beautiful place.

Mushara Bush Camp definitely had the best food of our holiday - phenomenal, beautifully prepared and very well judged.

The whole atmosphere of Mushara Bush Camp was beautifully calm, relaxed and peaceful - from the decor of the buildings and accommodation to the amazing but unintrusive service of the staff.

The location is great for eastern Etosha and we saw some amazing things on our last couple of days touring the park - our photographs look rigged!

We loved it here - wish we could have stayed here another day.....

Wild weather at Mushara Bush Camp

We like the layout at Mushara and the quality of the meru tents among the grounds with the odd DIK-DIK wandering outside as well as other small creatures. It does make for a more 'bush feel'.

The food is of a high quaulity if sometimes there are some odd choices.

The closeness to the Von Lindquist gate is great for the daily visit to ETOSHA (8Km) away. We did see more animals, particularly elephants at this part of Etosha (nearer to Namutoni) than elsewhere in the park.

We also had a few wild storms during our three day stay.

Mushara Bush Camp review

Excellent location, close to the entrance to the park and with comfortable and very well thought out rooms.

However nobody seemed to be in charge, and although staff were friendly service was a bit hit and miss. Although in the case of the food it was probably more miss than hit.

The guide on the game drive however was excellent.

Mushara Bush Camp review

Another unique, very pleasant and friendly Lodge which we enjoyed.

Might benefit from some A/C in the rooms in hot season which it did not have.

Mushara Bush Camp review

Mushara Bush Camp is set just outside the National Park, and makes a very good base for seeing Northern Etosha.

We found this part of Etosha to be perhaps less attractive and with less wildlife viewing possibilities than the central Etosha area, but if you are driving right through Etosha it is a convenient overnight location.

The luxury tented en suite accommodation is well laid out in the grounds, and staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. Food is excellent, particularly an outdoor barbecue meal on the second night.

Wish we'd stayed longer

After a hot day driving through the park, we checked in, had a swim in the lovely pool, then drove back into Etosha for the last couple of hours before sunset.

Dinner was gourmet-style food in the beautifully-furnished thatched area. Rooms are attractive and thoughtfully designed and equipped. No waterhole, but proximity to the park gate more than compensates for that.

Mushara Bush Camp review

The service and the food here are worthy of special mention.

We enjoyed a game drive in Etosha with a knowledgeable guide as an introduction to the park

We were treated a lovely outdoor evening meal, under the stars.
