"Mushara Bush Camp review"

2 nights Arrived 28 May 2022
"We stayed two nights in this wonderful camp and visited Etosha each day. The bush camp is very luxurious with wonderful services and very comfortable and private tents. There was a fire each evening as the stars came out. The food and beverages were excellent. The staff was very professional and highly qualified. They seemed to accomplish their work effortlessly and with great pleasure. It was a camp I would return to without question." See all these reviews: 11n in Namibia; 10n in Botswana

"Mushara Bush Camp review"

1 night Arrived 18 Mar 2022
"This is a lovely camp with excellent, comfortable, clean rooms and good general facilities. The pool area was well maintained. The central lodge area had plenty of comfortable seating and there was good wi-fi throughout including in the rooms.

Food at both dinner and breakfast was, as it has been in the past, excellent. The best thing, though, about this camp are the staff - they were friendly, welcoming and helpful showing genuine concern to ensure all guests were happy, well looked after and that all needs were met." "Mushara Bush Camp review"

3 nights Arrived 10 Oct 2021
"Again great staff, food, and tours. Fantastic view of lounging male lions and even a close encounter with a herd of elephants.

We got our 2nd flat tire here after driving through Etosha the day before. The staff were kind enough to swap the tire, though as we found out later the tire was irreparable.

We also got a chance to do some star gazing with the staff and guests.

One thing we found difficult was the tent/rooms. In the afternoon heat, the fans and ventilation were not enough to compensate for the October heat and we found it difficult to rest. The water also heated up during the day so that by the afternoon there was no cold water from the taps. As we found out later, the facilities next door at Mushara Outpost seemed a bit nicer, but on the other hand there seemed to be fewer guests, so perhaps it was just as well. (It's always nice to talk with other guests.)" See all these reviews: 15n in Namibia; 1n in South Africa

"The drive trough Estosha was incredible ! the animals are super abundant and they are everywhere !! They don't run away even when you stop right next to them . so many antelopes ,of all kinds . I had to stop and wait for the Zebras crossing the road - then I stopped in the middle of them - there were hundreds of them all around as far as the eye could see !! 4 lions came to drink at a water hole - more lions on a Rino kill- Elephants, Giraffes , hyena, wildebeest big walking birds etc. I slept so deeply in the naturaly cool air at Mushara - with Hyenas laughing in the distance .WOW - Again - I wish I spent more time there - 3 nights was not enough !!" "Mushara Bush Camp review"

4 nights Arrived 14 Aug 2021
"The service at Mushara was memorable. We were made to feel truly welcome by all of the staff who were amazing with the children. In particular Victoria was really friendly. We didn't take all of the children into Etosha each day and those that stayed at Mushara were pampered by the staff with activities and attention.

It's just a shame the family unit was way too cramped for a family of five despite the best efforts of the staff.

Mushara's close proximity to Etosha was a real plus, the animal sightings were all at Etosha over six days." See all these reviews: 17n in Namibia

"Mushara Bush Camp review"

2 nights Arrived 5 Apr 2021
"We had an excellent experience at Mushara Bush Camp.

The service and the premises were very good, and so was the food and drinks.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, the lodge atmosphere is family friendly. The manager was very helpful and gave us useful advise regarding touring the park and later for our return trip to Windhoek.

The swimming pool area is very good and refreshing after a whole day out in the park.

The restaurant and common area are very nice and spacious.

The location of the Camp is very good, only a short distance outside of Etosha and so it is easy to drive back in to spend the day in the East side of the park.

We did not do any activities at Mushara Camp nor did we see any wildlife inside the camp other than a small Antilope." See all these reviews: 12n in Namibia

"Friendly mongoose and great food"

2 nights Arrived 11 Jan 2020
"Lodge had attractive gardens and swimming pool. Dinners and breakfasts were high standard, lots of variety

Service was inconsistent, we were offered dessert and said yes but it didn't arrive. The same waiter was also slow on drinks service and his demeanor was less friendly than other waiters.

Victoria was a standout. She had a good sense of humour and was efficient.

The room sprung some leaks during a thunderstorm and there was water pooling on the sides - (we had the canvas shutters up)

The game drive was rich in animals but the guide spent too long on his phone - at times it seemed he was talking to other guides about where animals where but at other times he was looking at photos and seemed to be having personal conversations

Guide was still informative and provided a great experience, especially when it rained heavily and he got the ponchos and car sorted while also still serving G&Ts.

We saw a cheetah on our self guided drive." See all these reviews: 15n in Namibia
