"New and nice rooms but rather unpersonal host"

1 night Arrived 3 Mar 2013
"the rooms are very nice, especially nice bathrooms

the food, especially the dinner is very tasty.

the owners were somewhat reserved. we expexted them to be open and communicative since the guests do have dinner with them. however, we could not really get into contact with them. when the owner didnt even come out of the office to personally say goodbye to us although we were standing next to him it wasnt very polite in our view. it almost seemed to us that they had a problem that we only stayed one night at their camp." "Greak Hiking at Bullsport"

2 nights Arrived 10 Dec 2012
"Really interesting to see a slice of Namibian life from the inside. Spectacular hiking, with well thought out routes of different lengths and terrains which were extremely well marked out.

The food was delicious, breakfast definitely set you up for a day of hiking, the packed lunch more than I'd ever expected and wonderful home cooked dinners.

Unfortunately as there were other German speaking guests on the first night, the conversation was almost all in German. This was disappointing as we were hoping to spend time talking to our hosts, learn more about the farm and get a locals view on Namibia. We were lucky enough to get this opportunity on the second night." See all these reviews: 15n in Namibia

"Bullsport Guest Farm review"

2 nights Arrived 5 Sep 2012
"Beautiful location and friendly German owners. We were the only Brits there but the other German guests made an effort to converse with us.

Excellent if you like horse riding and/or walking in the mountains but beware - some of the 'walks' should come with a government health warning and are not suitable for unfit, inexperienced or older people.

Excellent food and comfortable, clean accommodation." See all these reviews: 17n in Namibia

"Bullsport Guest Farm review"

2 nights Arrived 4 Jul 2012
"Bullsport Guest Farm was our first stop on our journey.
For individual travellers like us, it was a bit unusual at first to 'have to' share the dining table with the hosts and all the guests and
obviously we weren't the only shy ones. After a while though and thanks to the talkative son of the owner, everyone started to relax.
The menu served was excellent and the familiar atmosphere made the whole experience enjoyable. We stayed two nights and actually kept in touch with some of the travellers throughout our trip.
The rooms were charming and very comfortable. We enjoyed the sunny terrace in front of our room, where we relaxed after a day hiking." See all these reviews: 12n in Namibia; 2n in Zimbabwe

It would be good if the place had a bigger sign outside (we weren't the only guests to drive past the entrance)." See all these reviews: 14n in Namibia

"Bullsport Guest Farm review"

2 nights Arrived 21 Jun 2012
"The owners were away when we visited. We didn't find the place particularly welcoming and the food was ordinary. Accommodation was comfortable.

While there we walked, and thoroughly enjoyed, the Waterkloof trail in the Namib-Naukluft Mountains. An excellent walk but poorly way marked in the last 2 miles." See all these reviews: 15n in Namibia
