The lodge itself is nicely located at the foot of attractive hills and the dry river bed. As a new lodge it has not had first choice of locations and perhaps it is a slight disadvantage to be a little far from the park gate although that was perfectly manageable." The guide will take you to a beautiful spot for lunch near a large weaver bird nest that will keep you thoroughly entertained during a fantastic lunch. This tour also includes an easy hike through the canyon at the end of the day that is worth doing.

The stuff is fantastic you really feel like at home. A special thank you to Andreas. The cottages are also really impressive.

The rooms are well designed if a little lacking in storage space, with a large outside shower/bath area. The main lodge has a great terrace and pool area beside a small stream.
Meals are served in a dining area surrounding a central fire. There was a limited choice at dinner.
The manager/owner Thomas is very friendly and informative, and the staff are very good.

The rooms were a little odd - there was a spectacular view which you couldn't really see when inside and the outdoor space looked over the parking spaces and other huts - could be better designed.
