"Mushara Bush Camp review"

2 nights Arrived 30 May 2016
"We received a very friendly welcome on our arrival (even from the resident warthogs and hornbills).

One of our group celebrated his birthday while we were there. A choir made up of the employees at the camp sang a Namibian equivalent of "Happy Birthday".

Excellent food, beautifully presented but no choice." See all these reviews: 14n in Namibia; 4n in Botswana; 2n in Zimbabwe

"Romantic, luxury tented accommodation."

2 nights Arrived 30 May 2016
"We loved the tented luxury accommodation and the beautiful main reception/dining area at Mushara. With warthogs grazing on the lawn in front of the open sided main building, the first impression of this camp was magical.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly and entertained us both nights with a celebration birthday song (the second night for Kieran). The food was excellent and a birthday cake presented on request to make it a special occasion.

Very comfortable with a delightful bush setting. All the group commented on how varied and delightful the accommodation had been so far." See all these reviews: 14n in Namibia; 4n in Botswana; 2n in Zimbabwe

"Mushara Bush Camp"

2 nights Arrived 13 Apr 2016
"Another fine place - great main hall area open plan and nice.

If there was a criticism it was the food being a bit over complicated.

Sitting quietly by the room watching the dik diks come around in the morning, followed by playful ground squirrels was a treat." See all these reviews: 13n in Namibia

"The food is superb and the Camp stunning"

2 nights Arrived 8 Apr 2016
"The food at Mushara was absolutely top quality and the staff very engaging and friendly. The tented accommodation was spacious and extremely comfortable. The main reception area and restaurant are architecturally stunning and the grounds are very well tended with a family of wart hog wandering about.

Mushara is a good base for exploring Eastern Etosha and is located about 9km from the park entrance.

As we had previously spent two days self driving in Etosha we elected to do a morning game drive from the lodge. This proved a good idea as we saw black rhino, a pride of 14 lions, cheetah, elephant, giraffe and hyena." See all these reviews: 12n in Namibia

"Another beautiful camp.

We felt so lucky to stay at different locations to see the differences. The accommodations were great.

They too did a great job of accommodating requests for kid-friendly foods." See all these reviews: 6n in Namibia

"A friendly welcome at Mushara Bush Camp"

1 night Arrived 25 Mar 2016
"The staff welcomed us back (following our visit almost 2 years before) and everything was as good as we remembered.

Great food again, comfortable tents and basically a very comfortable place to stay just 15 minutes outside the East Etosha entrance. Good wifi connection here if required." See all these reviews: 13n in Namibia

"Fantastic camp"

2 nights Arrived 4 Feb 2016
"This was the best place we stayed at in 3 weeks in Namibia, 10 out of 10.

Lovely spacious tents and a very well designed central reception/restaurant/lounge area looking out onto a nice garden. The food was first class and we enjoyed a lazy afternoon lounging around their excellent swimming pool area. Very reasonable price as well.

HIGHLY recommended" See all these reviews: 21n in Namibia; 5n in South Africa

"What a treat! Beautiful place."

2 nights Arrived 28 Dec 2015
"Mushara Bush Camp definitely had the best food of our holiday - phenomenal, beautifully prepared and very well judged.

The whole atmosphere of Mushara Bush Camp was beautifully calm, relaxed and peaceful - from the decor of the buildings and accommodation to the amazing but unintrusive service of the staff.

The location is great for eastern Etosha and we saw some amazing things on our last couple of days touring the park - our photographs look rigged!

We loved it here - wish we could have stayed here another day....." See all these reviews: 12n in Namibia

"Wild weather at Mushara Bush Camp"

3 nights Arrived 21 Dec 2015
"We like the layout at Mushara and the quality of the meru tents among the grounds with the odd DIK-DIK wandering outside as well as other small creatures. It does make for a more 'bush feel'.

The food is of a high quaulity if sometimes there are some odd choices.

The closeness to the Von Lindquist gate is great for the daily visit to ETOSHA (8Km) away. We did see more animals, particularly elephants at this part of Etosha (nearer to Namutoni) than elsewhere in the park.

We also had a few wild storms during our three day stay." See all these reviews: 11n in Namibia
