"What a great honeymoon!"

I visited Zanzibar and 1 other country between 30 Jun 2011 and 12 Jul 2011
"We couldn't have asked for a better honeymoon - adventure, relaxation, some fantastic sights and amazing food and drink.

The Expert Africa team delivered the honeymoon we were after and suggested the perfect resorts to suit the type of holiday we wanted, in line with our personalities and expectations. All flights, connections and bookings happened as promised and it was a smooth transition through each stage of our break.

We wanted to go away and start our married life together in a beautiful country and enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime holiday, without having to worry about the admin and minor details of transfers, etc. Expert Africa delivered exactly what we wanted and I would recommend anyone considering a safari to get in touch with the team so they can use their experience to deliver exactly what you want.

"We had the most wonderful time."

I visited Tanzania and 1 other country between 11 Jun 2011 and 26 Jun 2011
"We had the most wonderful time, it was a very special trip and did not disappoint.

We loved being on safari, the choice of camps was inspired and I would definitely choose similar camps next time. The Zanzibar beach lodge is a real gem, another excellent suggestion.

The only disappointment was the Zanzibar Palace Hotel which I would most definitely not recommend.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

The service was excellent and I have already recommended Expert Africa to friends. I will certainly use you again.

Many thanks for a wonderful trip!" Read full review: 15 nights in Africa; 8 on a Tanzania safari

"June in Southern Tanzania"

I visited Tanzania between 4 Jun 2011 and 14 Jun 2011
"We enjoyed visiting two new locations and thought both the camps were excellent. We were treated to (too much) delicious food and excellent guiding. The landscape at both locations was very beautiful. If we had any disappointment it was that the animal action was a bit predictable, in as much as we didn't have too much of the excitement of predator-prey interations we have experienced on some previous trips.

In Selous at least this was probably partly due to the still abundant water supply and lush vegetation, making some of the game a bit elusive. We also noticed that quite a few of the animals in both locations were still very wary of any vehicles. We were really pleased that we chose Oyster Bay for our last night - it was a delightful and gourmet end to the trip.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

Not really - you already do a pretty good job and we recommend you to anyone who want a good introduction to or advice on travelling in sub-Saharan Africa." Read full review: 10 nights in Africa; 9 on a Tanzania safari

I visited Tanzania and 1 other country between 28 May 2011 and 6 Jun 2011
"The arrangements for our trip went very smoothly. it was great to have all the transfers organised and everything handled for us. The mixture of Zanzibar stone Town and the beach was just right, maybe an extra day at the beach would have been perfect.

Selous was magnificent, Impala really was faultless, the guides very good and the team very friendly and attentive. Lake Manze was an interesting contrsat, liked the sociability and the lack of electricity and the enthusiasm of Sarah the manager. The guides I didnt find quite so good but still fine.

The only thing I would have done differently is maybe go to a different area for the second half of the trip in Selous.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

Maybe a little help with the links to possible sources of info re accomodation in Dar would have been helpful to us prior to our main trip with you but realise this may be alot to expect!" Read full review: 9 nights in Africa; 5 on a Tanzania safari

"Family trip of a lifetime to Africa"

I visited Zanzibar and 1 other country between 14 Feb 2011 and 25 Feb 2011
"It was a fabulous holiday, which we will never forget. All the pieces organised by Liz at Expert Africa fell into place, however improbable, including the tiny light aircraft which emerged in the bush to pick us up.

The camps were exactly as they had been described, so no place for disappointment; if anything, they were better than we had hoped for. It was a great advantage to be able to speak to knowledgable staff in London who could really help find the right places for us. Liz tried to persuade us not to go in February, and it was very hot, but we like that, coming from the European winter!

I would definitely recommend both the company and the camps to friends. Many thanks.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

I can't think of anything much! You might suggest that people bring their own rock shoes, as the coral and the urchins are quite a hazard.

Many thanks!" Read full review: 11 nights in Africa; 6 on a Zanzibar holiday

"Fantastic Trip"

I visited Tanzania between 13 Feb 2011 and 27 Feb 2011
"From the transfer from the international terminal to the domestic terminal and then our safe delivery to catch the BA flight home . everything went like clockwork. Havind been twice to Tanzania before , the trip certainly lived up to expectations .

We were meet at Arusha by our guide /driver Jackson who looked after us for 8 days. At all times he was absolutely excellent . Endlessly cheerful, he did his utmost to fill our game viewing desires. The vehicle was cleaned after every day and with the amount of mud we collected in and out that was no mean feat. Somedays we out practically out from dawn til dusk , always looking for the next sighting. Tea ,drinks and lunch stops he took in his stride , putting out the tables and chairs in some fantastic locations

Many thanks to Claire for all her advice and planning the trip for us.
