"Our African Adventure"

I visited Namibia and 2 other countries between 5 Sep 2016 and 27 Sep 2016
"This was our first visit to Southern Africa and it exceeded our expectations.

Sabina had given us a great itinerary and set of accommodation, with sound advice about distances and what to see. In retrospect we would not have spent two nights at Camp Kwando, but more in the panhandle. However, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would love to do it again.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

A list of where the ATMs are located would be useful.
Note that bird/animal guide books are not readily available at the lodges. Suggest that customers buy them before travelling.

Clarify the cross border permit instructions for vehicles from Namibia to Botswana.

Note that Zimbabwe now charges US$55 for UK residents visitor permit whereas EU members generally are charged US$30." Read full review: 22 nights in Africa; 13 on a Namibia trip

"Namibia Adventure- Holiday of a Lifetime."

I visited Namibia and 1 other country between 27 Aug 2016 and 21 Sep 2016
"We thoroughly enjoyed the trip; it met all of our expectations, for country and wildlife, and above at times. Namibia is a lovely country with nice people. The places we stayed at almost always got a "wow!" on arrival, what more can we say?

We would return very happily.

Fitting Victoria Falls in was good, but perhaps an expensive luxury." Read full review: 25 nights in Africa; 21 on a Namibia trip

"Zambia, Botswana & Namibia Aug-Sep 2016"

I visited Namibia and 2 other countries between 19 Aug 2016 and 6 Sep 2016
"This was the first time EVER that we engaged a travel agent to arrange a trip... after visiting 54 countries doing our own organising.

On the downside, the intimate knowledge that I usually have of every trip was gone. For me, this is part of the fun of a trip, so I missed it... having to check the itinerary every time I wanted to know something, rather than simply recalling it.

On the upside, the reason we had decided to use an agent was the difficulties of organising smooth transfers and bookings in a relatively unique environment... and almost everything went like clockwork. Where there was a hitch (the hotel 'upgrade' in Livingstone; pick-up going to the wrong end of the trip in Kasane) it was nothing to do with the booking or agent.

Taken as a whole we enjoyed the holiday very much indeed. Naturally there were highlights - Doro Nawas, Chongwe River Camp and Chobe Under Canvas would be our top three - but small things, like the fascination of the Zambia / Namibia border crossing at Kazangula or the starkness of the road from Henties Bay to Uis, also stood out as hugely interesting." "Namibia 2016"

I visited Namibia between 17 Aug 2016 and 8 Sep 2016
"Our sixth visit to Namibia. The itinerary was a mix of areas that we had not visited since our first trip. Lodges & locations we had not been to before and return visits to old favourites.

As ever with Namibia, there are new experiences, such as seeing the effect of extended drought, Rhino tracking, wild camping in Messum Crater - including experiencing the coastal fog in the dunes. We saw a good range of wildlife, often in stunning surroundings. Also amazing desert plantlife from Lichens to the most impressive Welwitchias in and around the Messum Crater. The camping trip was an excellent contrast to staying at the lodges." Read full review: 22 nights in Africa; 15 on a Namibia trip

"August 2016 trip to Namibia"

I visited Namibia between 10 Aug 2016 and 21 Aug 2016
"We had wonderful time during our trip to Namibia, perfect organization, no trouble at all, even if we booked with such a short notice in the peak season.
I would recommend to fly between some locations (specifically from Etosha to Windoek the road is nothing special, better to spend more time in the nature and fly back to the Capital).

Absolutely required a 4WD (even if the first suggestion by Expert Africa was dor a 2WD)" Read full review: 11 nights in Africa; 11 on a Namibia trip

"My August 2016 trip"

I visited Namibia between 2 Aug 2016 and 16 Aug 2016
"Apart from the middle 4 days, what made our holiday memorable was the quality and variety of the hotels you chose for us and the people we met there. We left each place absolutely sure it couldn't be matched but every time, it was. Our 2 boys were welcomed by everyone and treated as adults. They will never forget it.

Each of the 4 lodges we liked were totally unique and SO special.

If we did it again, we would probably do a flight or two to cut down the length of time we spent in the car. The boys found the length of the journeys a bit onerous. If it wasn't for the seals we would miss out Swakopmund. We would also miss out Dune 7 where we went quadbiking and sand-boarding too. A tourist trap, if ever there was one.

All in all it was an incredible holiday and I can't wait to return to Africa. When I do, I will definitely use Expert Africa. Liz Chapman was absolutely wonderful. I will also recommend them to anyone planning a trip." Read full review: 14 nights in Africa; 13 on a Namibia trip

"My Aug 2016 trip"

I visited Namibia between 2 Aug 2016 and 14 Aug 2016
"Namibia provides good value, great accommodation, easy self drive combining safari and outdoor adventure.

Perhaps less adventurous than safaris in countries such as Botswana but the infrastructure and choice in Namibia is unsurpassed." Read full review: 12 nights in Africa; 4 on a Namibia trip

"My August 2016 trip"

I visited Namibia and 1 other country between 1 Aug 2016 and 22 Aug 2016
"It was a good experience, although we did find some of the gravel roads quite hard work, but became more used to them. Perhaps we should have gone for a 4 wheel drive car.

However the landscapes and the wildlife were stunning, the lodges generally very comfortable and it was certainly a truly memorable holiday." Read full review: 21 nights in Africa; 16 on a Namibia trip

"Brilliant!"

I visited Namibia between 1 Aug 2016 and 15 Aug 2016
"Outstanding - memorable, everything organised to the finest detail and that's why we'll happily use you again.

Liz was extremely helpful, and went beyond the call of duty to answer inane questions so that our trip was as enjoyable as it possibly could have been. The car hire was seamless, as were the flights, and every single one of our accommodations was excellent. No surprises at all!

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

All was outstanding - thank you Liz and the team for another memorable trip." Read full review: 14 nights in Africa; 13 on a Namibia trip
