Mushara Bush Camp review

The tents have been upgraded since our last time here (2011) and there's a lot more room in the tents.

The atmosphere in the camp is really great.

Mushara Bush Camp review

Mushara made a good base just outside of Etosha. We had a lovely evening meal in the boma.

Also took a guided trip back into Etosha which we enjoyed.

Room was clean and fresh.

An enjoyable luxury camp

Our tent was simple but very comfortable, the central facilities were very attractive and the food was very good - both in the dining area and the boma.

Unfortunately we could not take advantage of the luxury facilities as we left each morning at 6.45am to go to Etosha and only returned after dark.

Lovely camp!

Mushara Bush Camp was a wonderful place to spend two nights or even more if time allows.

It is the height of comfort and they have thought of every detail to make for a fantastic stay. We had a lovely supper in the Boma and the food was delicious. The custom made ensuite tents are very well appointed and convenient with a very comfortable bed.

We had a very enjoyable stay.

Mushara Bush Camp review

Friendly welcome, good service, well designed, comfortable tents, good food. We arrived around 5pm and left before eight the next morning so can’t really comment further.

Activities were available and the staff were keen to explain them to us, but we had no time.

Mushara Bush Camp review

Outstanding lodge, beautifully decorated.

Fantastic rooms, very secluded and beautifully appointed rooms. Excellent food, surroundings attention to detail, like unexpectedly finding hot water bottles in the bed after dinner. Good swimming pool. Vegetarians well catered for.

Another camp that shouldn't be missed.

Great feel to the place

Lovely staff, great atmosphere and possibly one evening meal that was the best of our trip! We also dined underneath the stars in the Boma. We would recommend Mushara to anyone and particularly those taking younger children.

Room was a tent plus walled rear area accommodating the WC and shower. Another place where hot water bottles were put in our beds!

Warthogs on the lawn - what more could you ask for!

Mushara Bush Camp review

Reception, lounge, dining area is stunning. The largest open sided thatched building that we have ever seen.
Makes for a very dramatic place to eat and chat.

Tent was beautiful and very well laid out with many individual touches and thoughtful additions.
Even though the verandha was small it was nice to sit out and hear the birds and animals, or as George can testify, see, as a family of warthogs trotted past him.

Staff were superb and a credit to the owners.

Mushara Bush Camp review

Initially we didn't want to stay in a camp outside the park gates but it didn't take long for Mushara to win us over. The camp was spacious with comfortable seating in the central area.

Staff were very friendly and high quality food was served along with a good selection of wines. The only disadvantage was that we had to leave our favourite waterhole 20 minutes early in order to be at the park gates before they closed. This is definitely a camp to visit again and again.
