"Mushara Lodge review"
The welcoming staff were just that - relaxed and friendly, and as at Damaraland, not averse to bursting into song upon occasion (there was a birthday that evening).
First impressions were of an ex-colonial style hotel - possibly because of the zebra skin in reception, and the light airy lobby area.
Look out for small deer and Kudu in the grounds along the driveway, particularly at dusk/morning - but maybe best not to go out alone after dark as apparently predators have been known to pass through the area..." See all these reviews: 14n in Namibia
"A warm welcome at Mushara Lodge"
We were very happy with our rooms. I have an irrational fear of spiders and I was a bit worried about staying in a lodge with a thatched roof - but I didn't see a single one!
The food was good.
We saw kudu and impala wandering around in the grounds outside our lodge, which was lovely. This was a relaxing and comfortable base from which to explore the eastern end of Etosha." See all these reviews: 12n in Namibia

"Mushara Lodge review"
The food was very good as was the service, and the wildlife often wander into the area - warthogs join residents by the pool and a small deer was found gazing into my bathroom window one day!
We went on one of the drives with Imelda one of their guides. She found us more wildlife and taught us more about Etosha in all the time we had driven through the park.
The drives are good value - cheaper than those in Etosha and include your entrance fee." See all these reviews: 17n in Namibia

"A bit of luxury"
The evening meals were very good and the breakfast was again excellent with good choice. The only problem was that the clocks had gone forward and we didn't realise which meant we were late to dinner and breakfast, but they didn't mind and just laughed it off (lovely natured staff).
There was a wonderful swimming pool (and we did indulge here), nice sun loungers, sun shades and towels provided, wart hogs on the lawn, ground squirrels running around and Kudus roaming around. Super stay." See all these reviews: 15n in Namibia
"Mushara Lodge review"
The staff here were all very friendly and welcoming, although meal service was rather slow and the English Christmas carols accompanying supper were a little out of place!.
We enjoyed the pool and it was nice to have warthogs and kudu wandering round the garden." See all these reviews: 18n in Namibia
"Lovely quiet relaxing place."
Surprised to find a mother and two young warthogs cropping the lawn for an hour or more just next to the main verandah where we ate. An abundance of small squirrels consider the grounds are as much for them as for the guests. Friendly staff who performed some local songs at the end of dinner. Large ensuite bedrooms." "A very luxurious, professionally run lodge"
Marc was his usual very helpful self and offered us the free services of one of his trainee guides in the park." See all these reviews: 7n in Namibia
