The only wrinkle was that we were doing Namibia and Botswana, so we worked with two different team members at EA who had experience in each country in the earlier phases of trip planning (good), but neither of them seemed to take responsibility for the overall trip (the wrinkle) until we asked them to figure it out and put one person in charge of pushing things forward." On the whole the trip was without any major hitches but I doubt that I will go back to Caprivi although I will undoubtably go back to Namibia.
I was shocked at the obvious poverty around the Divindu area and a little surprised at the obvious development and money being spent around Windhoek. I am not being critical as I am a visitor passing through but I do wonder at the lack of industry and therefore the lack of employment. There is a huge abundance of water in the Caprivi and wonder why it is not harvested and used. The weather was fantastic , the people are a charming gentle race keen to help and almost without exception polite. A very happy holiday.

Everywhere we went it was noticeable that the lodge owners had only good things to say about Expert Africa and your handling agents in Southern Africa, (Wilderness Safari's?)

"A good holiday"
We were incredibly lucky to see 12 or more rhinos gathered at the waterhole in Okaukuejo one night. We were also lucky to see a cheetah and cub and catch a glimpse of a leopard. However, we had no lion sightings which is a pity as were keen to see Namibian lions.
As for planning, if we had stated rather than implied that we were keen wildlife photographers we wonder if our route would have been different? We also wish we had stayed at Namutoni camp instead of Mushara camp as this would have given is additional wildlife viewing time before and after sunset.

We are delighted with the quality of service provided by Expert Africa and their staff and are more than happy to recommend them to anyone making their first visit to Namibia.
We found the Bradt guides to be very informative and accurate - there was not much we wanted to know that was not contained within their pages. By the way, contrary to advice given, $200 notes were accepted everywhere!
